Do NOT use Fast Move Van Lines of Newark, CA. Upon first contact they seem friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to do anything to meet your needs. The reality is they will under quote the job and repack your boxes using their extremely overpriced supplies. After reading all the reviews on the internet it appears that the main reason for repacking your boxes is so they know which boxes to fail to deliver. I bought a set of tires from these people 2 yrs ago...have a 65, 000 mile warranty...Had them rotate tires and after leaving had a slight vibration, noticed that one tire had a place where a weight used to be so thought it had fallen off..they let me bring it back in to check the tire then I was told that the balance was fine and that I needed a front end alignment and NEW TIRES!!! I also know that at least three of my referrals to Clear Choice Richmond have installed their windows without any problems. I hired Penyak roofing to rip out and replace my roof. The roofing material was delivered and they put it on my front lawn! The delivery truck also DAMAGED my driveway!! It has now been 4 weeks since they delivered the materials and nothing has been done. I have been in contact with Jamie, the secretary, and Joe the owner since then. They have put me on the schedule 3 times over the past month and have canceled 3 times. Td bank at the cornere of 5th ave and 1st street placed a levy on my workerscompensation money when I called the levy department a supervisor identified herself as Carol no last name said she is not allowed to give out her last name but her employee id number is 596508. she said Governor Patterson passed a law in 2009 called the exempt fund belt. They seem to know just enough to convince you they'll do a good job but not enough to actually do the job. They promise to show up bright and early in the morning but then do not show up until noon and one day they showed up around 2pm and about three others not at all. So i actually got the winning bid, for a 1991 Mercedes 300e, in January 2010, the car was shipped to me feburaury 2010 a week after the two snow storms, in the NE. It took forever to get the keys and title to the car. When i looked at the car it wasn't at all how the pictures showed it. After driving 40 minutes to my appointment, I got stuck in traffic and was 11 minutes late. The dentist refused to see me or even talk to me yet their posted policy says 15 minutes or later for appointment could result in re-scheduling. Another lady in the waiting room said I could have her appoinment which followed mine, but they refused saying they don't do business that way. i recetly went to an audition at 320 West 37th st for VIP talent. When i was shceduling my apointment for the interview the lady on the phone did not mention any prices for any such events. When i went to the event the lady asked for 875 dollars for the price of the event and she also mentioned that if i wanted my mom to come along she had to pay 195 dollars extra. But she rfecommended that i go alone since i was 18 years old. Now there is no reason they should have asked me for money. There was only 3 other people in the room. it felt kind of akward.
