I will never buy a Gateway product again. Worst of all, my wife told me not to buy one based on reviews she had read just like the one I am writing now. I bought a Gateway FX6800 at Best Buy. The hard drive has failed after 2 months. Have spent hours going back and forth with Best Buy and Gateway. End result is BB can send my computer away for 4 to 5 weeks to fix it. or Gateway will send me a hard drive to intall myself in 5 to 8 days if I give them a credit card to charge and then send them the defective part for a refund (I only get 10 day... read full review »

The name says it all. Conn's . Though it should be spelled Con's. I purchased a TV and Sectional for my home. To make a long story short, they never gave me back my delivery charges they promised because they brought the wrong stuff the first time they came to deliver and I had to wait an additional week to get my stuff. I purchased a language CD from this company, what I received was a CD with some PDF files and some sound files and you have to open up the pdf files and try to match what is being said on the sound files to the pdf's. They are of extremely poor quality. They advertise that they are the software used by the state department for training their staff but I can't believe that a government agency would purchase such a useless CD, it is not even a program for learning, it is just pdf's and itune files, totally useless. read full review »

I had MarisBrooks side my house with the guarantee the job would be done professionally and quickly. This was right after they installed a new roof. I was told by Steve Reichert that he did all of the work with his own employees. It became obvious after the job started that he subbed the job out to someone else. Needless to say the subs don't really care about time tables or quality. The job went on for 2 months when I was told it would be 2-3 weeks tops. I just got off the phone to India for the fourth time trying to get them to honor a deal I thought I had made in October 2008. I had switched from regular Dish to Hd-Tv Dish. I had talked to a young lady in Manilla, Philippines and She signed me up for what I thought was going to be free installation and free HBO, Starz, and Cinemax for three months and $24.99 a month for the 200 channel silver package/for 12and $5 for DVR rental each month. I have had a bad experience with them, I order a crystal cross on jan 9 2009, they said it would be in the last week of jan. never got it, call many times, but always the same old answering machine, we are helping other customers, and will get back to you. well after about 30 messages, a human called back, and said the cross would be in the last part of feb. never came in, try to reach them all of march, never got a call back, just have a answering machine. they charged my cc card, i call the card company today, 4-4-09 to reverse this charge. read full review »

Wen Hair Care Products - Guthy Rinker. I am very disgusted with this company, not only did they hit my account for over 97.00, but when I called Customer Servuce to return the product, they said I would have to have it sent with a return receipt, costing me another 12.00, this was to guarantee my refund. When I finally got my refund they charged me over 31.00. What a joke, so this whole return cost me over 43.00. I am not sure if the company profile states if they are selling used perfumes or not, ... but they do sell used bottles. I got mine D&G men perfume and the box was wrinkled all over and mostly the pump/plunger what ever that name is had someone else's finger print all over, , and the bottle was not even full.. Tv bought 5-20-2008. On 2-19-2009-no picure, only audio. Philips called, tv to authorized repair shop on 2/20/2009.After 3 weeks, we called shop-waiting on parts, blah, blah, blah. Repairman laughed because I was upset over 3 weeks-he's had 1 for 3 months. Ticked me off, Philips called. They would have to turn this over to "customer relations". These people claim to help collect debts. They do make some effort at it, but then they charge over and over. They do not return phone calls and when you do get through, you are told to just wait 30 more days. After 6 months, There is still no case records with the court, The atty. of record is not listed as having a license in California. The owner of this establishment (Cynthia Miranda) required a deposit of $1000 in order to reserve the restaurant for my son's rehearsal dinner to be held in May 2009. This order for this product from this company was never initiated and was declined before any processing of the credit card and this company went ahead and processed the amount. The original order was not understood by my daughter and I was unaware of this. When given the option of continuing or declining, she clicked decline and yet, they processed my card. The sales person told me the pool for 399.00 was not a good pool that it was cheap and would cost to much to keep up for my families use. They have what they call a secure online merchant and also a security policy stating that they do not sell customer information to third parties. I thought I could safely purchase online without compromising my personal information or credit card. I placed an online order for some small parts, which easily fit into a standard flat rate USPS box, postage of $4.90. In the final step of checkout, the shipping charges popped up at more than $25. I figured it was an error, so went ahead and paid and then contacted the company. They answered that the shipping charges were dictated by USPS, not them. That's completely untrue. I'm very displeased with the cross spray I ordered. The cross was all white and nothing else with it. I paid an extra $10.00 for a "Beloved Uncle" banner and the picture online had red roses draped across the cross. None of that arrived as ordered. I will not order from Honest Flowers.com ever again. We bought a sealy 2 years ago with a 10 year warranty. The mattress is defective and after 3 months I finally got a letter that I may replace the mattress but that a different model would have to be chosen because the one we got is not longer being made. We barely cooked - i spent $250 for a valentines evening to learn to make a seafood meal however learned NOTHING since verything was prepared already when we got there. all food was chopped and and sauce ingredients mixed, all we needed to do was spice it or throw it in the oven. a total joke. I ordered a used textbook from Barnes and Noble title Grammar by Diagram by Cindy Vitto. The description said that the book was in "very good" condition, which means no writing, highlighting, or page damage. This book had much wear, dog-eared pages, and writing on nearly every page! All of the answers were filled in. I don't believe having all the answers will help in my class. After many headaches, I received money back on the book. Having bought Diskeeper Undelete last year, upon upgrading to Windows 7, I found it would not install. Diskeeper's web site said that a Windows 7 compatible version would be available "mid December". These crooks sent me a generic engineering sample with the wrong surface finish as a Dell exact replacement. They sent me an RMA and gave me an address that UPS cannot find. They are making no effort to recieve the screen and are refusing to pay for all shipping costs due to their making an unapproved substitution.
