I have found today that I have had unauthorized charges in the amount of $174.78 posted to my business' credit card. Upon contacting them online, they refused to acknowledge any actual record for me. They said that I had to have signed up online and been charged a one-time fee for $1.95 on 7/29/09 and the very next day, I was charged $57.61. I do not have a complaint but I do work for a bank in the disputes/fraud department and the charges you receive are not considered to be fraudulent because you have authorized the merchant to debit the account. When shopping on line always look for the terms and conditions of the agreement BEFORE providing your credit/debit card information. Seed found in raisin bran cereal damaged tooth (molar) causing it to be pulled. Company now declines initial agreement of responsibility of defective product and now refuses to pay for damages. You trust that their product is safe enough to eat and only after you ask them to pay for damages they accepted responsibility for, they decline and withdraw their acknowledgement that their product was not safe. I too got involved with the google work at home, charged $1.97 for some kit I was supposed to receive. All I got was a CD. Then I had 2 deductions of $20.41 from my bank account. After speaking with a representative i was informed I got this service in 02/09, I have no knowledge of this service and my yahoo log-on password had to be changed because someone hacked into my account.
