Travel Guard Insurance
Travel Guard insurance was included with a travel package I purchased. My flight was delayed causing me to miss a foreign connection until the next day. I filed for compensation with Travel Guard on return from my trip. Three months later I got a call saying my claim was invalid because the airline was at fault. They said that I could write a letter and include receipts and I may still have a claim. I already had to get documentation from several places including the airline and didn't feel that I needed to jump thru more hoops. I think that this is their plan to wear you down and give up. Dependable Locks
I don't even know exactly what company to blame for this. I called some "Emergency Locksmith" company in the U.S. I guess (because they didn't know where Menlo Park is) and they sent a guy out from Dependable Locks. Derone (I think East Indian from his accent) was a young-looking guy. I thought maybe he would be kind to me in my situation.

I requested a change of electric provider on line. I read where there might be a $400 deposit so I called GEXA and asked if GEXA would inform me if there was a deposit required - the answer was, "Of course!".
I did not expect to pay a deposit - I have an excellent credit rating. Nothing was mentioned in the contract that I received with my new account number, but when my first bill came, it included a $400 deposit!

They gave me a guarantee that they would be able to remove hair on my back (I didn't have that much to start with) - after six treatments they suggested I change to a different laser, at a different location.
After six more treatments they kept coming up with different excuses, such as double passing, my skin was too dark, my hair was too dark (I am a middle of the road Caucasian)... it was excuse after excuse. ABC Limo company backed out less than an hour prior to pickup for our large party of 14. Their only excuse was that they decided it was too far to drive for the money. They knew about our required pickup date well in advance (at least 2 weeks). I also had called to confirm several times before our pickup date of 7/7/07 that we are all set to go. I would like to report their poor business practices so that others may be aware that ABC Limousine out of Alexandria, VA is not a dependable company.

They charged $149.95 with out consent after getting the credit card number for "shipping and Handling" on a free sample. Limage Plus
I ordered a camisole 6/07 and paid with PayPal.
Limage Plus never sent my merchandise and has apparently lied throughout the process. When I wrote to follow up in July they said it would be sent out in 3-4 days. I also left numerous voice mail messages which were never returned. I called again, it is now August and the person said the merchandise had been sent. Obviously not true. Where is the tracking number? Shouldn't a legitimate business follow up on lost merchandise?

The worst airline and worst customer service. I was coming from India to Dallas and changed my flight to continental for whole trip(via NY) as there flight was canceled. At NY there was no continental flight for me and luftansa ppl told me its continental headache or wait for 5 days for next flight.
They dint reply to my call complaint and email complaints in last 5 months.

One of the largest credit card issuers in the US, this privately held subsidiary of a foreign bank seems to have a practice of late billing, slow processing, and unresponsive customer service that results in inappropriate assessment of late fees and interest on payments delivered to them on time but not processed in a timely fashion. Values Plus Online
On 11 August 2007, I received a letter from Values Plus Online stating I had signed up for their services and will be charged $16.95 per month for this service. there was a subscription number contained within the letter. I have never heard of this place and DID NOT sign up for ANYTHING, although they seem to have my credit card information.
Their email does not work, and guess what??? When I tried to call the telephone number to cancel this subscription, the "business" was closed.

I called Tri Clear telling them that I was sending back the 'sample' unused and I wanted no other charges on my credit card. My issue as seen below is not only with the failure of the transmission on my 3.5 year old maytag but the lack of service provided by Maytag dependability plus and Metro Factory Service in Dover, NJ. I was hospitalized for a disability that disabled me to perform my job duties, I was told that I would not loose my job because of my hospitalization, after I was discharged from the hospital that was not the case. GoVideo / Soyo Model R6530, what a piece of crap. Manu in 2003, quirky when bought new. Picky about DVD+R media brand, sometimes does not work or do anything. Applied a recent update and it croaked. Calls to their customer no service numbers, go unanswered. Or we will transfer you then hangs up. Funny thing is other model I also own works real nice.

A year ago, I sent for a so called free sample of Hoodia,3.99 ship. charges. After that they sent it to me every week, and they wouldn't take no for an answer. I sent them back, emailed, wrote a letter and finally told my credit card co. not to pay them.

I locked my keys in my car and called Dependable Locks Inc. I asked for an estimate I was given a quote of $39.00 service charge plus $15.00 fee. The dispatcher had told me that he would be there in approx. 30 min. 1 hour later the driver had arrived, it took less than 10 min and he charged me a total of $90.00. When I told him the price the dispatcher quoted me he clarified that it was $15.00 and up depending on how hard it was to unlock. This company is all about profits, no customer service values or
healthy outlook towards pets. Today I used a manufacture coupon at my local Petsmart location and I was asked to pay the taxes on a free bag. I have never heard of or seen anything so tacky and in such poor taste in all of my life! This

I was told I was approved for a loan with Bowerland Financial in Vergennes Vermont (which is a fictitious address), by Bruno Minyoni. I was told to moneygram $ 1860 dollars to a man named Bernard Vollmer in Jamaica New York and I would receive my loan of $7000. The money up front was to be for the first 5 months payment and the default insurance. Needless to say I never received my loan after sending the money. Publix Supermarket - Jacksonville Beach, FL
Both my wife and I (and several of our neighbors) have complained to the store manager of the Jacksonville Beach - Publix Supermarket about the foul smelling fish department. We made these complaints over the last year. Each time the managers told us they were aware of the situation, and they planned to remodel the store to correct the smell.

Zodiac Flea & Tick for Cats
I purchased "Zodiac Flea and Tick for Cats" at a local store in my area and applied it to the back of my cat's neck as the directions stated. Shortly after, my cat of 14 years became ill. I took her to see a vet and spoke to additional vets by phone. All were in agreement that the medicine sold over the counter in stores, including Hartz, has been known to send pets into convulsions and possibly result in death. Sadly, my cat passed.

There are several internet companies out there that are offering programs on the net for jobs to work at home. The problem is that they are not offering the option to decline follow up service at time of sign-up. They offer the program for a good price with a trial period to try it out but then you get stuck later because you forgot to call them and cancel. I have read the complaints for banfield in different areas of the world. I am still not quite sure if this was my fault or not?... They recently merged with QED Sales Inc of 805 N bethlehem Pike Spring House PA 19473. The company REFUSES to give back monies on retainers or service contracts on any customer that is currently not using them for service. We are all looking into a class action lawsuit. IDT Corp - I have had no phone service since 7/31. Prior to that all phone messages were garbled. I have now been on hold for 2 hours waiting for someone to pick up the phone. On 7/16/07 I ordered a sink from Sienna Sinks web site (Dallas, TX.). I received a confirmation, but items ordered were not listed. Sink arrived and when my contractor looked at the sink, it was not the sink I thought I had ordered.

Norweigian Cruise Line
NCL is the only line I know of that now x-rays all checked baggage looking for alcohol. We had one bottle of special wine in my bag to celebrate an anniversary. They held my bag until I paid a $15 ransome.
Our balcony room was tiny and the balcony itself was postage stamp size. Very much not worth all the extra cost.

Each and every time I have had to speak to someone for assistance in either setting up or adding time to my phone, I have spoken to either a male or female who is totally deficient in conversing in English. When I called to complain, the representative was very and ultimately hung up on me. His closing words: "Your god and my god are not the same."
