These clowns are part of what some car dealers do. They promise you financing and you the customer act in good faith. You give them a deposit when asked. After they lie to you and don't produce, they keep your deposit. This happened to me at Kings Auto Plaza Brooklyn NY. I reported them to the Brooklyn DA, that's when I got my deposit back. I am reporting these jokers to the Westchester County NY DA's office for the same type of offense. Do a handshake with any car dealer. Only transfer money when the deal is done. read full review »

I purchased a Bible at the Long Beach, Carson St & 605 Fwy Barns & Noble on 4/18. Brought it back for return on 5/7, 5 days too late. I don't carry around "store credit" with me. I gave the Bible away. I shop at Barns & Noble to support the store & local business, but I won't be back again except to find things I want to order on Amazon... for a mail order company, they are much more customer friendly. Unbelievably, I discovered that my Wachovia bank account was being charged $19.95 per month by Best Benefits. I immediately went into the bank and stopped the charges, and had them call the 800 number to find out what was going on. This is an extremely annoying commercial showcasing a child's voice counting all the ways Human Dental can save you money. I parked in the lot by my school, University of Houston-Downtown, with a valid surface lot parking permit. There were many other vehicles with similar plaques on the rearview mirror, however, my car got booted. Easy VHS to DVD software and hardware came with a laptop system I bought. Did not try to use it for about a year or so after I got it. (Was no need) When I did try and use it the hardware would not be recognized by the system. After over a month of WEB based support, which a whole other topic of complaint, I still have no resolution to my problem, Roxio support keeps giving me the run around, and they wont replace the hardware without a receipt that I do not have any more. I wanted everyone to know that I just received a phone call from Ballantyne RV in Victor NY (where we purchased our extended warranty for our camper) I was informed that signet is going out of business. I was also told that they may be going bankrupt as well. In a nutshell, I will probably not receive my 1650 dollars. I was told to still contact the Attorney General, maybe they could do something. I dealt with Kevin Walsh at ext. 330 at America's Health Brokers. He told me that the coverage was 70/30 (70% covered by the insurance and 30% covered by the patient) on the Plus plan. In addition to this they offered cash pay outs depending on the service. After getting the benefits package in the mail and reading it, there was NO mention of any 70/30 coverage. I ordered one informational DVD in August of 2010 with my debit card and they have been charging me $9.95 every month since. When I complained they told me I purchased a monthly membership with them(which I did not) They agreed to refund me 3 months but would not give me a phone number of who I can conntact regarding this matter. I needed a phone number. PhoneAgent runs an internet service promising a search for $1.00 with a guarantee to refund the $1.00 if they do not have the information. This turns out to be a credit for another search. In addition, because I chose to try the service for $1.00 (instead of the one time use fee of $4.95) they automatically enrolled me in their monthly service for $18.95 with the provision that I could cancel by calling within 7 days (small print notice). Beware of this outfit. They are a lead generating organization, or that's what they claim. They offered me Real Estate Leads, that were "Ready Willing and Able" buyers and sellers. They would send a lead and at the same time charge my account. The problem was, they sent leads got their money but not one was "Ready Willing or Able. This company is in the same building but just changed their phone numbers and changed their names so no one could catch up to them. They will take people's monies, but won't give them grants.. We purchased a Liberty 43 days ago. We were forced to bring it to a local service center as we were driving and there was a bad electical smell coming from the truck and a bad clunking coming from the back of the car. We signed on with Auctions for Income to help make money to support our family. What they don't tell you, is that what you pay upfront isn't everything you pay. What ever you do don't use this site. They had a file I wanted to download and they said in order to download this file you have to be a member. They offer a 7 day trial at 1.99. After signing up I could not access that file and there was no way to download it. Now I'm trying to get my 1.99 back and it's possible they will try to charge me reoccurring fees. We rented a vacation home in Eze, France trough VRBO/Homeaway and purchased the "Care free Vacation Insurance" they advertise. 2 days after we were told everything was completed and had transferred $6500.00, we were told that we were the victim of an internet scam. Pre paid for a one night stay through Expedia.com. Upon checking in I was asked for a credit card to cover "incidentals/ damage". Since our checking account balance was low I asked the clerk twice about being either double charged for the room, or stating tha if there were any additional charges or fees I would pay them in cash. Filled out a survey online and was told to pick a free gift, I chose the electric cig kit and put credit info. in to pay shipping & handeling. When my next bank statement came there was a charge of 70.00 on it.I never agreed to purchase anything and there was nothing about a trial period.
