I needed a rental due to an auto theft, Saban's seemed hassle free so I went to rent a car for the duration of my theft issue, to start I was assured that they would work with my insurance company with third party billing all i needed was 250.00 in deposit and first weeks rent. I quickly realized that I had put up 400.00 or lied to about the fee. Which is yet to be determined. So 4 days in I had to return the car as it was a road hazard. The turbo blew up in our car (Renault Scenic) so we took it to a renault dealership and when the work was done the bottom end of the engine had gone so we needed the engine to be reconditioned. We searched on the Internet and took the car to the Engine Warehouse in September 2009. They told me the work w ould take 5 days and would cost £2200. Have had nothing but trouble since ordering a car part on this site. From the onset the guy was friendly and happy to take my money, when the money was safely in his account the customer service stopped, I was given 2 different tracking numbers for my car part, both of which were false (phoned to check with courier) Continued to insist they were legit, even after telling him I had been in touch with courier. I got the transmission May of last year. I had it installed and it was slipping from the start. I called to have it returned but they gave me the run around. Well after 1 year with it in the garage I got some cash saved up and took it back to another shop. We found used parts in a rebuilt case. that is why the want you to return it. I own a 2005 F-250 that has had repeated problems and Ford's only response is that we are sorry. The differentials limited slip has been a problem starting at 17K miles. The clutches are wearing out within 6K to 17K miles. Ford replaced the clutches 3 times under warranty (less than 35K miles), then the clutches failed again at 36K. Even with a history of failure, Ford would not pay a nickel to repair or replace the clutches. Dropped my car off there for an oil change & inspection - just happened to see the mechanic abuse my 150K mile (original clutch) car by peeling out & burning rubber. Confronted the manager and he could only ask "what did I want from him". I asked for my keys back and told them I would never let anyone I know bring their car there to be abused. I was given the wrong part ans as result of this I broke the water outlet and had to go back to get correct part and a upper water outlet. I would think you would train your counter people better to know the right part from the wrong part. Do not use this muffler shop. They repaired the exhaust on my Honda CR-V with parts fabricated by them that are not up to Honda Specifications. My check engine light came on 4 times after they did the repairs and the dealer told me that the work was completely unprofessional and was leaking at the welds. When purchasing an extended warranty for our used veh we went with Direct Buy Auto Warranty. A $500.00 gas card was offered as an incentative to pay the full premium up front. We were told we would get the gas card in approximately 4 months. I did a follow up on the offer today and found out the gas card is issued after our warranty expires. In our case that is 5 years from now! Shame on them. I can on guess how many gas cards are returned because people move and they do not receive updated information. Buyer Beware. I purchased a 2007 Sante with a 2.7 liter engine and 4 speed automatic. Hyundai advertised the gas mileage to be 8 l /100 kms for highway driving. It got 12 l /100kms and 18 l / 100kms for city driving. The CD player kept heating up CDs to the point of warping them. I took the van to the dealer who told me there were a problem with the van and that since they weren't sure exactly what was wrong, the entire system would have to be replaced. The dealer shop give me an apporxiamtely amount that it will cost me, but never really give me a guarantee.
