This guy is the WORST. He's incompetent, tardy for every appointment and rude. I was in need of a good IT guy to handle my small office here in Denver and I found this guy by word of mouth. I purchased an Emachines Laptop at Sam's Club in May of 2009. In April of 2010 the screen stopped working. I called Sam's Club and a very helpful technician diagnosed the problem as a defective video card which is part of the motherboard. The Sam's Club tech contacted EMachines since it was still in warranty. Emachines advised me to send the laptop to their repair center in Texas. My husband and I are both mature, 50-year old homeowners with no children (young or grown). We bought a new 47" Vizio LCD TV 18 months ago. We had our Sony Bravia only 14 months before the picture went completely bad. Just long enough to be out of warranty. Have just now had enough money to get estimate on fixing it, but machine cannot be repaired. No television is a good buy at a cost of fifty dollars a month. I had the repair department of the St, Catharines Future Shop store actually go in and remove my hard drive and have it destroyed. The claim by future shop was that according to my warranty my hard drive should have been backed up. The warranty says nothing about the removal of any part of my computer.
