I purchased this Hitachi 55HDS69 Plasma TV and extended 3 year warranty on 12/31/2006. It worked fine until 2/3/2010 when the video died. The audio works fine. The TV was put in a repair shop on 2/4/2010 and they have informed me that they need a pair of boards (TS06623 & TS06624) to get the set going again. The TS06623 is not available and is on back order with no anticipated delivery date. 2 months have gone by and I have talked with Hitachi numerous times ( most recent 3/22/10 ) and still have no idea when parts might be available. These morons sent me an ac adapter with a completely wrong output voltage. i plugged into my computer, and it started to smoke! i had to get the whole 'motherboard' replaced. then, they had the nerve to tell me it wasn't their fault, refused to pay to repair my computer, and made me pay to ship it back to get a refund. also, he said the refund would take 2 weeks from when they recieve it! worst experience i've ever had purchasing anything, ever. i reported them to the better business bureau. not only that, it took me 6 e-mails and 4 phone calls to get that bull**** information. read full review »

I have a SIT 1x CDMA USB modem( Epivalley) supplied by TATA Indicom. I am not able to instal the modem in my laptop which is having a VISTA OS. Just bought the DVD player last night, drove 45min home, set it up and it will not play anything. I called their support and they want me to buy a lense cleaner. Why doesn't a DVD player work out of the box? I've installed for friends, family, myself which is approx. 20 units. I've NEVER had to get a lense cleaner on a NEW system. I take offense to any company denying my right to use my own equipment. I purchased a brand new HP Pavilion Elite e9280f computer Dec, 2009. It is now March 20th 2009 and I still have not been able to use the computer. This is a company that does not honor warranty. You can call a million times and they always have a back order so you cannot and will not get a replacement. Where is CONSUMER PROTECTION here. HP KNOWS that their power adapters are shoddy. There are countless episodes of adapter failure, dongle failure and customer service nightmares. A search for replacement parts for my HP adapter returns 54$ as the lowest price for a OEM adapter, all the way up to 100+ from HP themselves. All of my friends with HP laptops have had the same issue with these power cords failing. Just a dongle is 65 dollars (OUTRAGEOUS!)
