I have a linksys wrt54g router. It has worked well. I tries looking for answers to my problem online and on linksys website with no avail. I started up a chat with tech support and after answering all their questions they said I was out of warranty. I did not want them to repair it I just wanted a couple answers to what might be the problem. Their only answer was to pay them for advice. When the part didn't arrive on time, owner made several poor excuses and used delay tactics for several days but eventually just stopped answering phone. I took my Blackberry Bold in to have the latch on the back of the phone replaced and the screws to the phone tightened and one replaced. Because the screw was missing, the phone would power off and on when moved the wrong way. When I went to pick the phone up I was told that I would have to pay $60 to have the screen on the phone replaced. Whatever Computes is a website hosting company - operating in Regina/Saskatoon Canada. I paid for services for my website by giving them my credit card number. They made ficitious charges (almost $1000 worth) to my credit card and when I asked them to credit my credit card back, they refused, but offered the overcharge amount as prepaid services instead. I purchased a new Toshiba laptop in June of 2009. In November 2009, it had a mechanical failure in the power connector; it broke off and fell into the body of the unit. It was repaired under warranty then 4 months later failed in exactly the same way. There was no abuse of this laptop, just normal everyday use. Toshiba declined to stand behind their warranty repair, which was either performed incorrectly or using defective materials. I purchased a download to update my Garmin Street Pilot on Thursday evening for a trip to Nashville early Friday morning. I was up most of the night trying to get it to work. Last summer, I purchased a phone from Cincinnati Bell. It was a flip phone made by a company called Alcatel. Bought an Aspire One for me (grad student) and my son (autism). Six months after purchase the screen cracked. Netbook was still under warranty so I sent it to Repair Center in Texas per ACER Repair Center website(shipping $50+). Do not buy Panasonic TH50pz plasma TV. It is defective and likely to die within first two years. My TV died three months after warranty expired, and Panasonic did not take any responsibility for two defective circuit boards. Tens of thousands people have complained of the same or similar problem on various www forums (google panasonic plasma dies). The estimated repair cost was $1, 000. Panasonic also does not have an authorized servicer in the city of 200, 000 people where I live.
