I purchased an LG Electonics room air conditioner from Home Depot and after 59 days of being installed it went up in flames. The fire department's official investigation stated clearly that it was a mal-function in the ac unit. LG sent someone down to see the damage and deceided it was not their liability ! Having bought Diskeeper Undelete last year, upon upgrading to Windows 7, I found it would not install. Diskeeper's web site said that a Windows 7 compatible version would be available "mid December". They are making no effort to recieve the screen and are refusing to pay for all shipping costs due to their making an unapproved substitution. This company sells rather expensive small appliances, made in England. I have had one of their toasters for about three years, which now has a burned-out heating element. When I contacted them, they first informed me that they were only responsible for models sold in the USA (I now live in Mexico). I purchased a gateway MX8711 in Aug of 07. I started having problems with laptop shorty after the 1yr warranty expired. At the 1yr, I contacted Gateway and as to purchased an extented warranty. We bought a HP TV 52 inch about 3 years ago. The bulb has blown at least 3 times. They were initially good about fixing the problem and the last thing they did was actually replace the TV with a refurbished one. It worked about 5 months and the bulb blew again!
