I purchased a Fortec Star satellite receiver in December after the sales pitch claimed that you simply plug in a hard drive via the USB in the front panel and you can pause and record live TV. I couldn't get it to work so contacted the supplier who tried a couple of things with no success. They contacted Fortec Star but eventually gave up trying to get them to sort the problem out and even gave me the mobile phone number of the UK boss as they were so fed up with the lack of service. The W595 broke down 4 times in 3 weeks!!! Give you an example, I collected it in the morning of 30/01/2010, but it went wrong again in the evening. What's wrong with it? I wonder whether it is the matter of the quality of Sony Ericsson handphones. I got this handphone on 22/02/2009. Is it able to be used for less than one year only? Okay last year i had brought a motorola product from tmobile, that was the worst thing that i could have done! This phone was okay for the first couple of weeks then it went downhill from that. Ok no joke, I buy a pair of there lowrider headphones in the mall and after two days the headphones just stop working. I take them back to the mall and the guy says I have to send them back to the company. So I fill out the RMA request and wait a week for a response pay to have them shipped to them and dont hear anything for about a month, try to call for 3 days finally get someone on the phone to help me and guess what??? OMG!!! I promise I am going to find every website/blog humanly possible to let other consumers know that HP has the WORST customer service I've experienced in my 54 years. Six-month old all-in-one printer w/six months left on warranty burns out - won't fire up and burning smell. Call HP, get escalated to boss on every call with a promise to call at xx:xx am/pm. I had just bought a PSP and had problems getting an internet connection through my wireless router which is an advertised feature of the system. I called Sony for help but there was no prompt to speak to a human but I happened to know 0 works most of the time. I would have been better not talking to anyone because after only 2 minutes the rep had become very impatient and rude with me. I purchased an espresso maker and when it arrived the quality was poor so I called to return it. It was only then that I learned they not only charge a restocking fee of 25% but that they won't refund your money. They will only give yo a gift certificate. NO WHERE during the purchasing process did they alert the consumer to this dishonest business practice. I was told by Customer Service that I should have read the "general conditions" statment which I later found buried in small print. Jan 2008 purchased DVD Recorder, it no longer works. I took it into the store where I purchased and they asked if I purchased at their location -- the address was printed at the top of the page! Then they would give NO indication of when the repaired item was to be returned. I am totally dissatisfied with everything HH Gregg and beyond this will never buy again. I was only allowed to speack to a MIT (manager in training) who obviously did not know anything except doubletalk and evasiveness. read full review »

I bought a a6535 HP computer in November 2008 from Costco. After about 10 weeks the fan started to make a loud noise. I called HP and they said if I sent them the computer they would replace the fan and I should have the computer back within about 3 weeks. I use the computer for work so that was not a good plan. I took the computer back to Costco since it was still within the 90 day return period and purchased another a6535 model. That was on February 06, 2009. My GE Adora Dryer purchased through Home Depot started making horrible noises. After two service calls (expensive) and no fix I was advised to call GE since the drum was flared and was still under warranty. The tech said he had seen a lot of this with these dryers. GE refused to replace the drum, telling me the warranty was for only one year. My owners manual only covers 3 models of GE dryers. They tell me that I have the wrong manual and it does not cover the drum, even though the manual says it does. I was told that the manual covers many appliances, (not true) and did not cover mine. I just purchased a HP P2035n LaserJet Printer. The printer works great and is quite fast. Here is the big problem!!! The price of the cartidges is ridiculus. I have purchased two cartidges and they were more than the cost of the printer. I am trying to find recycled cartidges, but because the printer is so new no one carrys them. I am going back to my old printer where I can get cartidges for 1/2 the cost of HP or Office Depot cardtridges, the two biggest ripoffs. I like HP products but this sours me like a bad crate of rotten lemons. read full review »

In December of 2009 I ordered the Norton Internet Security for $73.16 . In Janurary of 2010 I received my Discover Card bill and it showed a bill from Direct River Internet for $54.61. Which I didn't order. Discover card did a investigation saying both companies are the same and are now billing me again for the $54.61 from Direct River Internet. Nothing shows on my computer but Norton. Why am I being billed twice for the same service? read full review »

Have a Beko washing machine WMA5410 for nearly a year brought Feb'09, Motor/Circuit board blew on the 23rd Dec '09. Engineer came out on the 5th Jan '10, parts ordered an engineer arrived on the 23rd Jan ( after the scheduled engineer on the 21st fell ill ). New PCB install, but the new motor was broken. Engineer wait away ordering a new part. It's now nearly 3 weeks later an still no engineer or part. 5 weeks of laundrette washing £30 a shot ( Wife +2 kids, couple more weeks of this and I might as well have brought a new washing machine ( NOT BEKO!!! ) Shame last one lasted 4 years. read full review »

Dell has a customerservice making promises continually they cannot keep! Not even talking about the non- responses when you do get upset finally! We ordered two Latitude laptops for our starting company and since we are travelling a lot for work, we only had one question on ordering; when would they be delivered. I bought the DVD player on 9/19/09 and from the start the remote control only worked when it was less than 1 foot away from the player. They nicely sent me a replacement remote, but upon first use it worked just like the first. I lived with that problem, as my time has been too busy to do otherwise. On 2/7/10 I went to insert a DVD into the player, but with the remote the player would shut on for 2 seconds, then shut off. I tried it manually w/o the remote, same result. This store has the worst customer service I've seen in 10 years. I bought a laptop that was offered on the website with a package worth $150. They gave it to me without th package saying they can't match the offer and then I came back again to replace it with another laptop since I felt like being deceived and they wanted to charge me a restocking fee for exchange. The manager was very rude. I spent over $4000 over the years on this store but this will be my last time buying from Bestbuy. Please be aware when buying things even within the 14 day period since they'are gonna charge you if you exchange. Very frustrating. read full review »

I was on hold for over 45 minutes trying to talk to someone about my service contract. My treadmill has needed service several times and each time I call UTS, I wait over 45 minutes on hold before talking to someone. I've spent hours on hold and they are unable to fix my treadmill. I've had the roller replaced, deck replace twice, motor, walking belt and the drive belt replaced. This treadmill is a piece of junk and the UTS doesn't help!! read full review »

I ordered Jupiter Jack, 2 for $10, they billed me $68: chargred me $19.99 for each, charged me shipping of $7 on each then send two mounts and charged me $7 on each. Called and got some rude people from India, they basically told me to go to hell, I mean it, they said the bill refected what I agreed to. A scam, I am still protesting this via my credit card company. Not only that, in Denver the jack doesn't work on the channels they provided (too much interference). This is a total scam. Don't buy this from the web site or tv ad, you will get a bill in which the shipping is more than the product price and the damn thing won't work. read full review »

Tech people who order Computer Parts over the internet for home or office need to know the ZAMMAN CO. who makes power supplys for computers, Zalman products will "NOT" work. For Example: Zalman model ZM1000-HP will not work, brand new out of the box. Zalman products come with a 3 year Warranty, the company will not onder its Warrantys. When they came out, the geek squad guy said he would order the part and that he would be back in 2 weeks. I bought a new whirlpool stove, after receiving it, it was scratched, and not properly set up for me. i tried the self-cleaning feature and it discolored the oven door. i was told by the department manager i left the rackes in when they should have been moved! the medford store gave me a great deal on a better stove and again the people did not do a good job of installing the oven! when i tried the new ovens"self-cleaning" feature, it again discolored the oven door. i'm no longer sure LOWES can sell quality kitchen appliance, and stand behind them!thans for your time. read full review »

I sent my projector in to Toshiba's contracted warranty repair company, Projector Doctor, for a minor defect in the built in DVD player. They sent it back and it would not power on. I sent it back and forth 3 times and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. On the 4th occasion, Projector Doctor stated they installed the wrong circuit board on the 1st occasion and would attempt to fix it. It's been going on for 6 months now and is still in their shop awaiting the part. Toshiba will not claim any responsibility for this. I believe this is wrong and that I'm entitled to a replacement unit. read full review »

My Nokia N95 8GB cellphone went dead set few months ago. I tried changing the batteries (original one) but the battery were also damage. I sent the cellphone to the Axiom Service Center here in Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia but the told me there was nothing wrong with the unit, just change the battery. I paid the the handling fee without having it repaired. I did change the battery again with the original one but still the same problem occurs..
