Three weeks ago I purchased a GE blender. It was the most expensive blender on the shelf($70). I thought I was getting a quality product. After using it only three times it broke. I returned it and exchanged for another GE blender. I had to get the step down this time. After using it 6 times the piece that turns the blade broke. In June, I bought a Samsung X460-44G laptop for about $1, 300 and it included a 1 year warranty. On December 17th, I submitted my laptop for repair because the keys were malfunctioning. Asurion supplied a Palm Treo 755 to replace a lost Treo 700p from Verizon. The 755 came without the necessary cables to load the data from my computer. Every time I restarted it, it was necessary to enter a password before the phonr could be used. A long series of problems resulted from my purchase of an HP laptop. First to go was the battery, almost immediately. This is not unique to my computer. I have several friends with HP laptops and they all last between 1 and 3 minutes running off the battery with the cord unplugged, so rather I guess I have a lightweight desktop, since it is no longer portable. I purchased a brand new Philips telephone. Right from when I opened the box the 2 (yes 2, not just 1!) handsets didn't work. After about 5 - 10 minutes of use, they simply die. Sometimes they die almost immediately upon turning them on. My wife is so nervous that we won't be able to reach emergency services if something goes wrong and we can't find our cell phone.
