In early October 2009 I bought a Toshiba laptop U500 ST5302 from this online store. Soon after receiving the laptop, I found that the laptop battery was draining at the rate of 15% per day (flat in less than one week) when the laptop is totally shut down. This week I purchased a "brand new" Sony Ericsson mobile phone from Jacky's Electronics in Dubai Mall. At first they offered me a phone in an open box and i specifically asked for a new one. I have been using Power Clock software since 2006. A hard disk crash caused loss of the program but I still had my data and key code to activate the program. Power clock refuses to supply a new copy of the .exe file so I can reinstall unless I pay $150 to upgrade. They say they don't keep copies of their old versions. I do not believe them. Do a Google search of Smart Subs Fraud and you'll find many negative reviews. Smart Subs is a drop-shipper - when you place your order, they then order your item from another retailer, typically an Amazon seller, then it comes from that source. Bought Onkyo home theater receiver TX-SR505 Aug 2007; in november of this year, it stopped working (wouldn't turn on). I purchased the TonidoPlug device about the first week in Nov. 2009. The device never worked as stated. The documentation is next to nothing and any support is crpytic at best. My husband ordered WMR100N - advanced weather station with wireless sensor. One day after installing the system, the temperature/humidity sensor failed. He contacted technical support through their web site and was promised a replacement unit. Two weeks later, with no replacement in hand, he called customer service and all they could tell him was that the request had been submitted. In the meantime, the rain gauge failed to work.
