It started on December 1 or 2, we took our gateway computer to computer genius to have more memory added and they said we needed a new mother board at a cost of $ 243.93. when we got it home and booted up it seemed fine. I purchased an Inspiron 1501 laptop from Dell in June 2007. When I was on dell.com website I upgraded the memory to 1gb and upgraded the cd/dvd drive to a rw for both. Please be careful of a company by name Lindres Electronics. They tend to sell apple iphones and other products online with an exciting offer of 1 free if you buy 3 iphones. Once you pay the amount, the owner of the company says that you have to buy 15 iphones since there was a change in the rules. Paid $39.00 under the impression I was going to process rebates and be paid $15.00 per rebate. Turns out I was direct to Clickbank where I would have to create 'Hoplinks' on multiple websites in order to SELL products for Clickbank before supposedly any rebates could be issued.
