I would like to know why the above chains seem to think that we live in a predominantly muslim country. I do not eat halaal meat. Two young girls appeared to be selling magazine subscriptions door-to-door in order to support their future educational desires in communications. I wrote a check for $57 to Face to Face Technologies for a two-year subscription to The Week. This occurred on 8-7-08 and I have not received the subscription and the check was canceled several days after it was written. The Internet shows a number of "Rip-Off" listings for similar incidents. I've repeatedly sent them back their bills with a note saying I don't want their magazine and now I'm getting a " Third Notice" . I do not want this going to a collection agency and they do not provide a telephone number on their bill so I can contact a real human being to get their attention. i am getting bill twice a month for xbox360 live. one on one day and then again the very next day. i was charged on the 8th of january and then again on the 9th of january. i believe that one of them needs to be refunded. it only needs to be charged one time and one time only. this has happened a couple of other times before and i thought it may have been a mistake on my part but, now i have gone and talked to my banker and they suggested to contact you on this subject. i feel that one of those charges needs to be refunded to my account now!!! read full review »

In Dec, 2008, my husband ordered the Carol Burnett Show dvd box set from TV ShowMonster.com and it took several weeks to arrive. It was supposed to be a Christmas present for his mom. In early January it finally arrived via USPS. First we noticed that the product had come from Shanghai, China and the manifest was in Chinese! I thought Red Flag!! We opened the box and my husband noticed that the copies were bootlegged and a very poor representation of what should have been in the box. Last night ITV showed an edition of the Katy Brand Big Ass show that clearly took a swipe at the Islamic way of life and also attempted to defame the character of Jesus in an attempt at humour. I paid 4000 for there winter advertising mailer. I looked like an ad you would see in the Penny Saver. The sales man told me I had to print it because I signed the contract and there was not time to redo it. It came out just before Christmas in 2007. The ad netted me no clients. It got me 2 calls. I was looking over my credit card charges over the last 90 days and noticed that Red Box has over charged me 6 times out of 19 transactions! Charges were $26.50 $4.24 $25.44 $2.12 $18.02 and $18.02. I bought a Vizio 42 in TV. The product came defective where the LCD screen was loose and was rattling . There was a gap from the frame to the LCD screen in 4 places. The gap was so much that I was able to fold a A4 size paper 4 times and it went through the gap. I ordered a magazine but decided to cancel. I followed the instructions on the back of the reciept to cancel. I couldnt reach anyone by phone so I faxed the cancellation over with all of my information as was instructed and it is 5mo later and still no refund. I can not reach the company by phone and now can not leave a message because their mailbox is always full. I wonder why? I feel violated and ripped off in the biggest sense of the word. I bought this software on a payment plan and have made a plan to pay on the 3rd of every month. Well I pay and they shut down my system and on top of that they take monies out of my account when they feel like it not on the third. So now I am paying for a program that I can not use. Of the $48 for the magazine subscription, $43 would go to the student for her trip and $5 would go to pay for the subscription for the soldiers. I have the exact same complaint as the person on1/16. I ordered a book for my daughter's college class on 1/15 and I am still waiting to get a tracking number at the very least. I also get the same automated email response about checking back in a couple of days as they update every few days. It should never take this long to get a tracking number from a company. Same experience as previous complaints. I opted to receive free magaines, paying only shipping for a years subscription. When the year was up, I received NO notofication of renewal and my credit charge was automatically charged in December 2008 for renewal subscription which were over the market calue..for example charged $33 per year for a magaine when it was avaialbe for $10 on-line.
