I needed a flat roof installed on my house that had leaks in many places. Deegan Roofing said no probs, we can fix it. Because a brand new roof would have costs almost 10 times the amount I chose to repair it. I was told the repair would last 5 years and it did not last 1 week. Rain comes the next storm. I called them back and they said they would not come backs unless I wanted them to install a new one. I was very angry cause they said they would garantey the work . My mom & I bought a 10x14 Steel Shed by Arrow. We bought it at Lowes last summer & we had the worst time possible trying to put this thing together. I ordered a living room set from the RoomStore in Richmond, VA in February. Because of the colour I wanted, it had to be "Special ordered". 8-10 weeks the salesman said. Poor and dangerous workmanship summarizes my experience with Strowd. They built a nice boathouse for me but the electrical was a nightmare. I have called them repeatedly about a dangerous junction box they placed under my boathouse (high voltage wires are joined under the boathouse facing the water). When the water rises, the box and wires get wet and I have been advised not to get in the water. I have called James Strowd repeatedly on this issue and he will not respond. I have a Monotronics home security system and they were to debt my account each month, this payment type had not happened yet. When I mail my payments, they do not post for at least two months and they call me asking for payments. Beware of Silicon Solar's exchange/return policy! This item was recommended to me by their sales rep, and it is the most underwhelming water pump I have ever seen in all my professional years. The pump is TINY and weak, the LED lights are dim and don't illuminate anything, and the fountain heads are of very poor quality. The Sears Repair service is atrocious! We had a heater (purchased from Sears) failure in January that was diagnosed the same day as a broken fan motor by a local service company. Since the heater was still under parts warranty we contacted Sears who told us it would be aweek before they could come. We purchased out GE Adora front loading washing machine July, 2005. Several times, when doing a heavy load, the machine gets out of sync. By resetting the machine several times has usually corrected the problem, but this time I'm going to have to call a repairman. We discontinue with Weaver Gas and when they came to pick up their propane tank, they also disconnect our regulator which attach to our house as well as the regulator attach to our generator without giving us notice so we can make arrangement for the other company to attach another regulator to our house and generator.
