We bought a Sealy Posturpedic king size bed set from Haverty's and were told that there is a warranty. Before a year was up, the bed had a 1 inch sag. Haverty's sent out people to look at it. They said they couldn't warranty the bed until the sag was an inch and a half and that 1 1/2 inches is the industry standard for replacement. On October 23 2006 I signed a contract with American Vision windows for delivery of 5 windows. the contract said the world would be completed in 4-6 weeks and the sales man offered me one year no interest terms. After two years and six months my Carrier Infinity Puron system begins to dump water all over my basement floor causing damage to carpet, walls, furniture. I called my certified dealer/installer inform them of the water problem and that the unit is running rough and is on more frequently than usual. This company is charging us a $600 cancellation fee for a contract that we did not agree to. There are two places to sign on the contract one that states that we understand the terms, and another place to agree to the proposal (thus turning it into a contract). I have repeatedly said that I have not ordered anything from bid.tv and yet the calls still keep coming. I believe that bid.tv is part of Virgin Media. I hired scotts in the spring of 2006 to get rid of the weeds in my lawn and help to establish a new bahia grass lawn. Contract was signed on March 30, 2007, to add a handicapped room with handicapped bathroom and sun room area on front and back of house. Did not complete addition even after a year of attempts at redoing all mistakes over and over again. We have an 04 Revolution and have had the usual problems, But there are two problems that we can't seem to get Fleetwood to deal with. I bought a $4711.00 Mitsubishi HDTV with a $328.00 extended 4 year contract. It doesn't expire until 09/24/09 but they won't honor it. It needs a projection lamp they have covered before, but won't now. They have replaced four projection lamps already. The cost of the lamps is around 225.00 each. I have a four year old Maytag Neptune washer that has a worn out spin bearing and I am looking at anywhere between $500 to $700 dollars of repair because it is such an involved repair. After checking on the web, this is a very common compliant about Maytag's Neptune. Maytag customer service--what a joke--only could offer me a 15 percent voucher the purchase of a new clothes washer--what arrogance. Maytag engineers must know of this flaw. We expected the machine to give us at least 12 to 15 years service since there is only the 2 of us using it and it is not getting the normal use of a family. I needed a flat roof installed on my house that had leaks in many places. Deegan Roofing said no probs, we can fix it. Because a brand new roof would have costs almost 10 times the amount I chose to repair it. I was told the repair would last 5 years and it did not last 1 week. Rain comes the next storm. I called them back and they said they would not come backs unless I wanted them to install a new one. I was very angry cause they said they would garantey the work .
