We bought the Black series (king size), supposedly Top of the Line for $2500. After less than 3 months, there were two troughs in the mattress. Simmons states that up to a 2" dip (with no one on the mattress) is acceptable. It cannot be slept on with that much of a dip. We are not sleeping at all, wake up achy all over. My wife and I are both in good shape and definitely not overweight. We wrote letters to Simmons but got no where with it. I want to throw it to the curb! In early March I ordered several plants from this place expecting to receive them with 2-3 weeks...boy was I wrong. I did not receive the plants and trees until mid May which is past our planting season for a lot of what I had ordered here in the deep South. I contacted their customer service 5 times wanting to know when my plants would arrive and I never could get a definite answer. When I finally got them I had to return everything at my expense. I finally got my refund June 10th which is just shy of a month of when they received my return. I don't know if this is a consumer complaint, but I think people should know about this company. My husband worked for them, despite being warned by other installers. They retained a large sum of money from his check in what they call "escrow" to insure any work that he did for them, he was told that he would get the entire amount back since all of his work was excellent. I purchased a Sears Oasis washing machine November 2007, after 6 months the machine would not spin, the Sears repair man came out and fixed it. He stated that there were problems with this model. In June 2008 the machine would not spin, Sears said this is unrelated to the other incident and this would not be covered under the warranty. Just another complaint about Raymour & Flanagan. They are awful!! They damaged my floor and then they agreed to settle after nine months. I've been waiting for the check for weeks and nothing. On June 5, 2005, I purchased a number of appliances from Airport Appliances. I decided to finance for 18 months. The issue: I was turned down for credit based on someone elses credit information. Although the sales rep from Airport Appliance told your credit rep that you had the wrong information, it fell on deaf ears. These guys are slow, careless, and rude. They blocked my driveway and my neighbor's driveway with branches as well - and then left for the day! Took them a crew of 4 about 6 days to cut one tree and haul away. They also damaged my sewer clean out and my asphalt driveway apron by dropping heavy logs on them. I have had a horrific time with PC Richards in NYC. 1 year ago I purchased a refrigerator after the first one I purchased went bad. It should have been a simple exchange since I had a warranty but no such luck. They were extremely rude in the 14th street store and not very knowledgeable. I finally got things squared away. Now I am trying to make sure I can redeem my $116.00 credit by checking over the phone. This process has taken over an hour. On 3/6/08 my home was slammed by a tornado. I hired Mr. Bryan Wolfe to reroof the building before the ins. settlement. Mr. Wolfe ASSURED me and every homeowner who suffered damage that he would accept what he insurance paid. I told him OK, do it. I am a female living alone. The control panel on the left door of my Maytag Ice20 French Door Bottom Freezer went berserk--all the lights starting flashing and the water/ice dispenser door started flapping. I researched this problem on the web and quickly found a huge number of complaints from other consumers with the exact problem. Apparently the problem is so widespread, the Maytag/Whirlpool company is providing a free replacement control panel and in some cases free installation even after the warranty is out. I retained A New View Windows and Doors for all new windows, doors, and siding. They started by attempting to cover up extensive termite damage. Things got worse from there. Since they abandoned the job in August, I have been having other contractors repair a several pages of defects. Moreover, they attempted to sue me without finishing the job. Some - maybe all of wasauna's products do not meet UL or Asni standards. they will sell you the product tell you they will mail you out the certification you need they never send out the proper UL or ansi approval forms which is required by your local city plumbing inspector to accept. Basically they will say anything to sell these products that are made in china and do not meet US standards in many US. cities. I have documents form the state inspectors rejecting their product.
