On April 16th, parts were ordered by the repairman to repair a seal around our GE refrigerator. By May 28th, we still had not heard from the Service Department when our repair would be completed. This only compounds the problem with Bray and Scarff. When they delivered the refrigerator, it was the wrong model. When I contacted the salesman at the Hunt Valley store, he offered $50 off the incorrect refrigerator, and then promptly told me that I am costing him money. Jared Berry is a crook!! Him and his family will cross any line necessary to get a sale. They'll go to any means necessary to get a sale even if they have to lie. One year ago, they were paid $3500 to put a flat roof on my garage. The roof did not leak before they did any work. They came back several times and could never stop the leaks. I had to pay another roofer $1000 to patch their mistakes and I will still need to re-roof the entire roof again. Champion Systems of San Jose, California prewired my house for an alarm system while the walls were open during a remodel. I paid up front for labor of four hours, even though John the owner was at my house for less than three. (I unexpectedly showed up at the house and saw him drive away after a little over two hours.) We bought our Platinium Collection home in 02/2007... we could go on forever about what has gone wrong since... here are some of the highlights. I was given a quote on building material (a lift of framing boards) and promised a delivery date, then the price was changed by .58 a board and the promised delivery would be delayed by two weeks which would cause all other trades to be delayed as well resulting in a great deal of expense. Poor service received when I contacted Sears about my air conditioning unit, which was purchased from Sears, was not cooling. I was advised that I would have to be at home on 9 May from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM to await a technician. After my wife taking off from work and waiting until 3:00 PM the technician arrived. Centerpoint is incapable of maintaining it's equipment. Frequently, as often as three times a month, a line fuse blows in my neighborhood with a boom and the power is out again. Sometimes it is followed with a louder boom and the transformer is gone again. With the temperatures in the 90's and high humidity, no air conditioning represents a health risk. You cannot contact a live person at this company unless there is a fire or a power line down - the only option is voice mail with limited choices. I just recently bought a dining set and then an office set. The salesman was incredible! He had a tape measure and helped me and my husband decide on the perfect pieces. Most importantly, he listened to our needs and was patient. We were in the store for almost 3 hours picking the perfect items. The delivery date was set for a Saturday so that we would be available. My beef is with Maytag the manufacture. We bought a new Maytag Refrigerator Stainless French Door w/ bottom freezer in Aug 2006. I believe we paid $2, 200-$2, 300 and within 6 months the ice maker also quit working. Seems to be a common theme with Maytag. Ace Fencing installed my fence as requested and on 05/15/08 I was cited by the City of Las Vegas Code Enforcement because there was no permit issued for said fence. I called C.J. Snell, the contractor in charge of the installation about the problem. He stated that he would charge me $150.00 plus the permit fee to get the permit he should have gotten before installation began. On May 9, 2008, I ordered a part for my 3 burner grill. When completing the order I was given the choice of having the part shipped via FedEx Ground, which I chose. On May 15, I went back to the website to find out where the part was and found it had been shipped on the 9th, but by US Postal Service, not the FedEx Ground I had been charged for, and was currently in Ohio, according to the trace from USPS. I have had a few less costly and one very costly experiences with the brick I bought two very expensive recliners, about 1, 000.00each after 3 months the mechanisms where shot. We are building a house in CA. Heard good things about thankless water heaters. Went online, found company in AZ. Ordered two units. They arrived with no invoices. When contacted, the owner stated if he provided invoices he'd have to charge more. Anyway, the units weren't what we expected, returned both. I bought a room addition from Four Seasons Sunrooms/Ambiance additions in May 2004. Room was completed July 2005 with a 10 year warranty. Right from the very beginning the room was never properly sealed, every time it rained water came through the roof in multiple areas. Cypress Creek Pools is terrible. They started my pool in February. After two months they worked on my pool a total of five days. They left me with a g unite shell and a mess in my backyard. I filed a complaint with the BBB and was threatened with a liable lawsuit by the owner for doing so. On 30 April 2007 we hired Harger Enterprises, LLC., to maintain our lawn and garden located in South Ogden, Utah for a fee of $45 per week. We recently ordered a bed and a dresser from one of Cymax's MANY sites. The dresser we received was damaged. We showed the damage to the delivery person but he still checked that the item was delivered in good condition. Because the damage was not noted on the delivery form, Cymax would not get a replacement for us.
