Had to have new french-door style refrigerator repaired 3 times in first year. Finally, they agreed to replace it with new one. After purchasing an extended warranty door hinge broke. Repaired and door replaced but old parts have been here for "dispatch" to pick-up for nearly a month. Today called 6 different times and no one can tell me when they will come to pick-up the large part sitting in my garage. Silestone Quartz Surfaces

We purchased a Silestone quartz surface countertop in 2002 with a ten year warranty. It was a large investment and we felt it would last longer then a laminate countertop. However, we found a defect in the stone (chip) within six months and now we have two cracks and a seam that is easily noted. The installer said not to worry about the initial chip in the countertop and said we had the ten year warranty to do anything about it. We ordered a Leather Sofa from them (and not one of their cheap ad models) and after tremendous delivery problems it arrived broken! We ordered about $7,500 of products from him. At first he will communicate with you by email and phone. Once he had our deposit, things went bad. As he fell way behind the 4-6 week deadline by several months, communication declined to zero. We even drove to his house to pick up our products. We found out they were not ready at this point. He promised to deliver them himself, never showed up. He now fails to communicate with us and has kept our money. I have lived with three Kitchen Aid appliances for the last three years and I am truly disappointed. The dryer began making a loud clunking sound a year in service and it took the repair man five visits to fix. It still makes noise but it is out of warranty and I will replace it soon with something made offshore. Same goes with the washing machine which sounds like the belt or bearings are failing and the refrigerator which makes more noise than my Bosch dishwasher. What a mistake. I have family with LG appliances and they are dependable and super quiet. So be it. Quality is off shore. read full review »

We purchased a sleep number bed with duel controls about 6 months ago. After a fews weeks my half sunk in, I almost have to be helped to get out. I made the bed harder and after a few days back in a hole i was. I called customer service and they sent me out a pad to put underneath the air mattress, because i could feel the hard bottom. We had the same problem as sooo many others, but we had good luck with getting the bad HV board replaced free of charge even though our frig. was 4 mos. out of warranty. It seems to help if you mention this website when you call and tell them you know the scope of this problem. All in all, we were pleased with the service we received. We had a new board at our house within three days and installed the next. We ordered or furniture in early Oct. 2007. We new the date we closed on our new home and new the estimated time for delivery and coordinated it so. On 11/20/2007, I ordered a dishwasher and paid for installation, as a Christmas gift for my mother. The item arrived and a date was set for on or around 11/29/07, to have the item delivered and installed. The dishwasher was delivered and installed a few days after. There was to be a 50.00 deposit total, because of credit issues. My Whirlpool refrigerator froze up so I have a service contract with GE and they referred me to A&E because my refrigerator is a Whirlpool and not a GE appliance. I purchased a sub zero 601 stand alone freezer unit new in march 2002. The unit was delivered defective. Many different problems cropped up over the years. Blown defrost heater coil, ice maker malfunction, outer seal leaks. The unit has been serviced more than 25 times in less than 6 years with an average mean time between failure of approx. 3 mos. I have bought the Sears Kenmore HE3 Elite Electric Dryer 5 years ago. Door handle keeps breaking off and I keep replacing it. Sometime it breaks within days. It is a faulty design. There are thousands of people with the same problem. There are forums dedicated to this problem Sears has done nothing to fix the problem. I made the mistake of purchasing a Samsung Inverter Air Coditioner Model SH12BWHA in August. It worked briefly. When we contacted the service agent he diagnosed the problem as lying with the inverter. Replacement parts were ordered and after 4 weeks the wrong part was sent from Sydney. Three weeks later the right part arrived and was installed by the service agent. The air con worked for three whole days!! and then broke down again. This is a complaint against the General Electric Company for refusing to honor their stated warranty on a dishwasher installed in September 2007. Briefly, the new General Electric dishwasher we purchased has a stainless steel tub. Shortly (i.e. 2 weeks) after installation a number of small, pinhead-sized pits in the surface of the stainless tub were noticed due to rust rings forming around them.
