I purchased a mattress, top of the line, 05/30/04 with a 10 yrs. warranty or 5 years replacement. Fingers replaced the Mattress in 09/25/07 with a Shadow Dream King size. This mattress has the recovery type pading. The first mattress was replaced due to sagging. I called fingers to replace the second mattress due to the same problem. My ordeal with Valspar/Guardsman began late January, into Feb. I first purchased my protection plan from Bob's Discount Furniture in 2005 For $159.00. I have been a loyal customer with Coast Gas for 21 years, always paying my billing on time. I have had a lot of problems with Coast Gas this year. When we moved into out house 8 years ago, we bought new Kenmore products -Washer/Dryer . In the last 5 years we have bought a oven, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher all Kenmore. Tim Newton aka JNH Builders aka Coldwell Banker Newton Real Estate was hired to build my house at a base price of $247K, plus $30K of additions, plus $10K closing cost for a total of $287+K. It is my opinion they have poor business practices and have no morals. The economy is slow now and you should do better by using any other company instead of Home Improvement Services. They inspected and passed a new hot water heater in the spring of 07. The pipe going into the top was not installed properly. Thus, it leaked flooding the area and ruining the heater. This was the determination of a leak detection expert. Also, there was not enough clearance around the heater as required by code. I have been trying for a month to find out who owns the tank on our property. I have made several phone calls, left numerous messages and had several people leave me with the promise to "call back". I cannot recommend the Waterboss 900. In addition to myself, my brother bought one and we both had problems. He had to replace his timer within the first week. They say the part costs $180, but since it was under warranty, they replaced it free. I noticed that all standard electric fans manufactured by Camville manufacturers corp, located at Dasmarinas Cavite are using substandard materials, if you compare old models to the new model had a big differences. The electric fan which have a metal blade are easy to become rusty and very difficult to remove the blade when it was need to clean and also the plastic model are very weak, you can notice the thickness of the plastic they used are very thin if you compare to the old models. I bought a townhouse from mattamy homes and the ceilling over the living room leaks whenever the snow on it starts to melt.My neighbor has the same problem since we share a common roof. This home builder is the reason that there is a mortgage crisis in Colorado. They run their own mortgage company and force people into nonconventional loans. I bought 12 sheets of 1" plywood from Menards of Bismarck from the bargain department and paid for this material. I told them I would be back later to pick it up. When I came back later to pick it up, they sold my material to someone else. I told them they need to replace what I bought with something similar. They told me they would only reimburse my money. I will never again own a GE refridgerator, even if it were free. My side by side is 2, repeat TWO years old and cost $1300. One year and One day old, the water dispenser died and cost $150 to repair. I have a fairly new home which was purchased prebuilt. From the onset there were problems with all of the homes on my street. Rain was literally coming into my neighbors homes. These fly by night contractors ripped us off. not a new driveway but a resurface - in places only millimeters thick. Driveway was done in October - already large patches where the new asphalt has peeled or crumbled away. Contactor does sloppy work, will not return to correct poor workmanship issues. I had a Techoblock patio installed at my home. Contractor would not return calls or return to site to repair patio light that they installed and was not working, tops of pillars were installed incorrectly, not enough sand was installed in joints and many other poor workmanship issues too numerous to name.
