Purchased a Kohler toilet and sink last year. The toilet is K-4609-AA, 1.6 GPL. From the beginning every approximately two weeks to a month, when we flushed, the commode would not empty. We have had plumbers out a number of times and they replaced all the flushing mechanisms and rotor routed everything. When the commode backs up, everything else drains. The last two plumbers told me the problem was in the unit itself. This contractor attempts to go outside your written contract for more pay with "add ons" not contained within your contract. These "add ons" include: changing the labor rate, adding an additional $150 for the first man hour onsite, additional billing for travel time to procure supplies and materials purchased (when they were provided), travel time for two workers at $75/hour to and from a warehouse that doesn't exist! We bought 8 wooden chairs, 4 tables, a sofa, loveseat and chair from this company in 2004. The salesman enticed us with a warranty that supposedly would cover repair or replacement on any of these goods and was good till 2009. Jarome bellach came out to my house and told us he would resolve the problems with my chairs by supplying us with matching pillows. He also came out to address the scratches on our coffee tables, the tables were delivered with existing scratches, everything has a lifetime warranty. He came out and cleaned the tables and suggested that if that was satisfactory for the time. I am very frustrated by the way GE Electric labor policy/cost works. My GE microwave was not working. I called the number that was supplied and was told that a serviceman would be out in two days. Worst experience ever. Purchased Palliser Horizons top of the line leather furniture from them. Furniture was several weeks late, delivery was a nightmare, and the chair had holes in the leather (from the factory) and they refuse to replace it. Presidential Pools and Spas (Karl Keene) was contracted to install a pool at my home on Jul 07 it is now almost Apr 08 and I have a concrete hole in the ground. During the summer of 2007, a very sly APEX alarm, door-to-door salesman came to our door and got us to sign up for an alarm system. We were told we could cancel at any time (which you can only if you pay out the contract or get someone to take it over). We were also told the system was the best around. Yesterday, while cooking dinner, I turned the GE wall oven (model: JTP85BA2BB) on to bake at 350 degrees. About 15 minutes later I walked past the oven to notice a bright fire in the right corner of the oven. I called to get an estimate to have our septic tank pumped and was give a quote over the phone from preston's plumbing of $95-$120 and I then made an appointment and at that time the guy on the phone asked me no other information and just quoted me a price, but when he came to our house and pumped the tank he told us it was $330 and where he got that figure. Bought this top of the line, $3, 000, mattress from Kingsdown and after 4 weeks started sagging in the middle. Called to complain, they send a kit that measures sagging with out load and they said the mattress is performing as designed with up to 2 inches sagging being normal after the 1st month. Is there anything that can be done about Mychoice Energy scamming to lock my CCFs Rate i was having with DTE Energy. The rep that i spoke with asked for my date bill and said the CCFs rate on the bill would be locked in and would not go over that rate should the prices go up. but the rate they locked me in at is higher than DTEs rate was at that time. Overnight the contactor on our A/C unit outside shorted out causing the unit to continually run even though the air handler inside the house was off. I called Universal Air in the morning and they sent a technician out in the afternoon. I have an LG Dryer model # DLG5932S. We continue to have an issue with the dryer not drying clothes thoroughly. This results in constantly running the dryer for hours.
