In june I paid Dan Casey of K.C. CONSTRUCTION $7200.00 in labor fee's to put up a retaining wall and privacy fence. By November the thing was ready to collapse and is continuing to erode. I bought a GTX Xpress Cooker, which we paid for in full, I paid extra for a cookbook. This was sent to our Address in North Carolina. We live in Bermuda so we made sure we were at our US address to get shipment. Within a year of owning the Cuisinart coffeemaker DTC 975 series, I had it replaced once; the second pot malfunctioned within 2mos. Total cost of shipping on my part approx. $20. for each replacement. Told by Co. rep. out of thousands of coffeemakers there may be 50 defective. I of course received two of them. After a recent purchase and installation of replacement Farley Windows from The Home Depot of Canada, I have learned the windows allow water to leak into the house. If water leaks air may leak, too. The Home Depot of Canada has said they are looking into this matter but nothing has happened after several months. After 18 months the door water and ice dispenser failed. We had a 3 year service warranty and after a week of listening to this unit clap and blink the service tech required another week to order parts. The refrigeration in the refrigerator section then failed and now we have a 1000 "ice box" to keep the food from spoiling. Now they say it will take 7 to 10 more days for the parts to be sent from the factory. We are irate and will never recommend this product. Purchased the dishwasher in 2001. we were shopping of a bosch, the sales person told us a kitchenaid was much better HUH! I just want to advise anyone that may want to make a purchase here. When I ordered my futon I got very poor service. The final product was not delivered to me until 2 months after I ordered it. They were not good at getting back to me via phone. I had to call several times to get the status. When it did come in they did not ship it to me. I had to go pick it up. My heat pump was down most of the winter last year. The service tech got it fixed again just before spring. The a/c worked great this summer, but as soon as it got cold enough for the heat, it would not heat again. The service guy replaced a recalled part & it heated for 17 days.
