Bought a tree pruning saw- brought it home, cut off about three branches and small ones at that- it fell apart, repaired it myself [7miles to Can Tire and no service there anyway]- back to work and it fell apart again in a different place- all this in the space of 2 hrs.- Will have to fix it again myself as the store has only 16 yr kids and the odd bored housewife working there- no real technical talent [I hold a couple of valid journeyman trades tickets and have a more than full shop]. Recently I unfortunately purchased some windows from Champion Windows out of Albany, NY. My wife and I stopped by their showroom (very impressive) and spoke with a representative who took us through a series of testing booths & demonstrations. The presentation was quite impressive, showing how their window incorporated special glass and frame structures that really seemed superior to everything else that we had seen. Just thought to share our bad experience with Spa de Soleil. My wife had ordered the sauna shower spa equipment from this vendor last year. It's supposed to have both the regular shower and steam function. After we had this unit assembled together by a professional, we were told that the unit only has the shower mode and not both. I purchased a very expensive washer and dryer a few years ago that was h an energy star. After I bout it they pulled it form the market and I found out they had been receiving many complaints about the product prior to the model I purchased. Paid for new rubber roof with warranty. Roof was leaking after 6 weeks. To make a long story short he would not stand by his warranty and told me to take him to court. I DID, he never showed and I was awarded$2200. After three years I am still waiting for my money. The shotty roof job caused damage to the drywall and ruined my carpets, not to mention the plywood on the roof that had to be completely removed. I have been waiting for my livingroom furniture for 8 months. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. First they deliver the wrong furniture and try to blame me for the mistake. My mom went to La Rana Furniture in 103 street Hialeah and bought for the first time the bedroom set of her dreams. I want to add my story to all the others regarding Empire Today. Steer clear from this company. The salesman tells you anything you want to hear so you'll sign on the dotted line. This woman does not do her own work like she advertises. she cons her bosses and laborers to do the work for her and yet acts like she does it all. They do all the lifting for her and even make sure that she gets jobs she would otherwise not get. My Kenmore Elite H3 is staining my white and light colored clothes. I have had the machines for 5 or 6 years and have had no problem until recently. Mohave County Pools ans Spas of Lake Havasu City Arizona is a big mistake. Do yourself a favor, don't choose them. Their management is terrible, they have had changes in the office and they are horrible. Poor follow up, you nearly have to pull teeth in order to get any updates out of them. I guess it is typical for propane dealers not to send out bills. When they make a delivery, they leave a bill and you are expected to pay it in a timely fashion. Ok idea, although i am used to dealing with a utility company that bills monthly for usage, but that's my problem... Having said that, we added a gas dryer to our house in march. Received $250 wireless speaker from Brookstone as gift from company I work for, exchanged with gift receipt for tool set and a gift for my wife. Wife wanted me to exchange the gift I got her but I left the receipt in my pants which ended up in the wash. The Manger at Brookstone (looked all of about 19) said she couldn't let me exchange it because I didn't have the receipt (I didn't want money back, I just wanted to exchange it for something else) as this was against their "Return Policy". I purchased a MAYTAG window air conditioner on line from Home Depot - they shipped me a Fedders which is okay BUT!!! The Fedders was made in 2005 - it was an old one and had to have the internal panel replaced in one month. I could of returned it to the store (they shipped free but refused to pick it up) however I was out my installation charge. I could get through to no one one this complaint - they were insulting.
