I received an early warning notice from Rodale Credit Dept indicating that I had not paid my Men's Health Subscription. It said that I had to pay the bill before it goes any further. Paid 1250.00 for 1 year hosting and to bulid a custome website for me. I was interviewed by a salesman promising me custom graphics and anything else I wanted for 1250.00. Why is it that Curves International does not stand by their franchises? I mean, after all, aren't they getting a cut from each franchise? We just lost our franchise and they basically won't do anything about it...that's over 330 members without a home. Grant you, they can go to another location (although most are far from their home base), but you would think they would get to the bottom of the previous owners and find out what happened. A March 5th 2010 charge for $12.95 for Web Hosting Gold on behalf of a web site called aDigitalVillage.com appeared on my April 2010 Verizon phone bill. I called the company's 1-800-944-0171 and the person I spoke with said she would remove future billings but would not remove the $12.95 charge. On Jul 2nd, 2009 their rep stopped at my house. We renewed Reader's Digest that day, with a three day right to cancel. I did that the next day, and have proof of it. The receipt number is K00018278, in the amount of $63.00. Subsequently, I was asked by them to submit more proof in January, 2010, which I did. I have complied with all aspects of the right to cancel, and they ignore my request to repay me. This is a legal contract, and I have lived up to it, but they have not.
