I bought a pair of black casual easyspirit ladies work shoes for comfort at work and after about one month of wearing them 3 times a week the sole split open. I purchased furniture from Bassett. The total amount was around $15k -- I paid cash for all but $2500 that they put on a GE card. GE has CHANGED THE DUE date the 5th to 7th for the entire time I have had the card. And if you do not pay by 5pm the DUE date, they charge a $30 late fee. BIGGGEST RIP OFF ARTIST I have ever seen. I was charged $1.97 on 3/30/09 for a work at home scheme to supply Google links. I was supposed to get an email giving me information which never came. My checking account was then debited another $72.21 on 4/6/09 which was unauthorized. I have reported this to my bank as fraud and I need help in making sure this fraud is not repeated. The agent came out and explained all the costs and gave me a fair estimate and even personally boxed a thick glass shelf for me. This company lures you into presentations. Anything from Viewing timeshares/vacation properties to vacuum cleaners. Pure and simple...beware!!! They have impossible rules/guidelines to follow when booking your vacations and absolutely insane wait times when calling with any question. Over 20 minutes most of the time.
