Auction Teacher
jdavies February 5, 2009
I joined Auction Teachers(they were also at National Grants conference) they made a lot of promises. They say they would create my website, pretty much do all the work and submit my web page to the search engines. There was a small fee, and then there was another fee and before long I was up to $400 to get started, and the impression they gave was that they would do all they said for that amount. But it turned out that is not what the truth was. Instead you got some software and the instructions to using the software, the instruction... read full review »

AT & T WIRELESS SERVICE
chris February 5, 2009
I am infuriated with the AT&T customer service that was rendered to me. The support from the Business Care Center, Customer Care Center, Santa Ana (CA) Corporate store, and the Premier Web Order Center is horrific. I have never witness this type of support provided by any other wireless company throughout my 20 years of using a mobile phone. No AT&T representative knows what they are doing and have not provided constructive resolutions to the numerous problems that I was receiving. On 12-17-08, I signed on to AT&T wirele... read full review »

The above company sent me products and charged my credit card and some other credit card that I don't have. Both products were sent to me and I opened one to see what it was and immediately call the number on the bottle to tell them that they were not mine and I did not order them. They told me that they charged two credit cards with postage. I told them to send me an envelope to return them in with postage paid. I was put on hold for over an hour. Very rude. Not only do I want to file a complaint, but will turn this over to my attorney for further action. read full review »

I've been making online payments for almost 1 year on a 3yr interest free account; Ge tried to offer a quicker payoff by giving $50.00. I could not do that. All of a sudden GE didn't apply my payment (never got it online?!) and now they are charging me a late fee and 500.00 finance charge. read full review »

I like everyone else who took a chance trying a "FREE SAMPLE" and later being Billed $78.81 for something I did not order. The only way I found out I had been taken advantage of is I recieved a INTERNET FRAUD ALERT that notified me by phone. I have a loan for $5, 000 with care credit and recently had $4800 worth of braces work done. I recently lost my job and weren’t able to pay them to make a long story short I now owe them $5900 and they sent me a letter saying that I qualify to pay them $1440 and they would send letter to the credit bureau that it was paid but not paid in full. My question is how will this harm my credit? Thanks! read full review »

Pottery Barn Kids
Laura Lee February 5, 2009
We purchased a wall unit from Pottery Barn Kids for $1, 550.00, which was to include "white glove" delivery. I asked about this several times, because if we couldn't get it assembled, we wanted to look elsewhere. The salesperson assured me I was paying for and would receive "white glove" delivery. The delivery date came and went, although an email had been sent saying it was on it's way. After talking to different service people, they said they couldn't find it. Then they found it. I found an $11.99 charge on my bank account. When I called the company they told me that I had signed up for their service when making an order on 1800flowers.com. I am positive that I never signed up for this service. I demanded a refund and that the service be canceled or I would file a fraud report with the police. I was told that my $ would be refunded within 48 hrs. This company is a scam and everyone who works there is a crook! read full review »

Around 2 pm on mon. feb.2, 09. i went through drive-thru to get me a double stacker to hold me over until supper. I paid around $3.00 for it. Drove off and pulled over to take a bite of it, the bottom of the bun was hard and crunchy and the cheese was stuck to the paper and was dark orange color. I went back through the drive-thru and explained it to them, they directed me to the window. they took the old one back and gave me one that was cold and the cheese hung out with corners on it, the sandwich actually was falling apart because... read full review »

TaxMasters of Houston

I had several thousand dollars in tax debt. While this doesn't seem like much, I am a single mother who barely makes ends meet. TaxMasters promised to intervene with the IRS and reduce my debt to "nothing, or at least pennies on the dollar." I began getting suspicious when I could not get through to speak to anyone in person. I got the same old tired message about being number so&so in line with a wait time of four minutes. It was always four minutes, no matter how far I had advanced in the call waiting line. We purchased an expensive treadmill from Sears some years ago. Approximately one year ago it failed and we called for service. The service man came out and repaired the machine, which we paid for. The machine failed again and we called for service. Another service man arrived, walked in the door and within five minutes looked in his service computer and announced "there are no parts available, I cannot repair this." We were expected to pay $109 for this service call in which no service whatsoever was rendered. We do not intend to pay... read full review »

Forclosure Relief

They claim to be a "forclosure relief" specialist but they are a wolf in sheeps clothing. They also claim to have a $100% money back guarantee no questions asked, but that too is false. They will scam you out of your money in a very convincing way, making you beleive that it is a "good faith" payment to your mortgage company and before they can proceed further for your loan modification they have to recieve your payment first. It is all a big scam. After they took my money they had my file sit on someone's desk for 4... read full review »

I was given a CZ engagement ring on December 21, 2008. On January 7, 2009 I returned the ring to the company for repair. A side stone had fallen out and the center stone was loose. I received the ring back on Jan 31 (well over the promised repair time). The center stone is now pushed down into the prong setting and crooked and the side stone that had fallen out has fallen out again. I have called and emailed so many times and no one will return my calls and all emails from the company tell me they are waiting to hear what can be done with the ring. I have not received a satisfactory response. read full review »

CCRider February 5, 2009
This Company is very much a scam. I paid for the $49.95 "Get Started Kit" only to have learned a good lesson a few days ago. There is no phone number to call for assistance. It doesn't just end at the $49.95 fee as one link goes into another, and another to another wanting more money to access companies in need of Data Entry Personnel. There is no such list as the link supplied gives you access to "Yahoo Hot Jobs" which I could have accessed myself rather than paying $49.95. Then when I clicked on their Live Help icon it... read full review »

I cannot remember ever signing up for something, but he had a specific date...so I agreed to listen to the rest of his speech. E Auctions Success
Anthony February 5, 2009
I recently saw a $59.90 on my credit card statement. I called and found out it has been a recurring charge since April 2008. I normally do not use this card. I have a balance. Every month, I do an online payment so I rarely look at the statement (until last night). I called DRI or E-Auctions Success and found out that supposedly I signed up for a 2 week free trial last March and that after that, they were billing me $59.90. Well I don't recall any free trials nor do I recall getting anything from this company-no products was sent and no services were ever rendered. Basically, I was charged for something that I've never used. read full review »

Nice Move
Richard February 5, 2009
My experience with this company was horrendous. The company's customer service is the worst service I have even experienced as they have an extremely difficult time in answering their phone and not calling back even though they promise they will. In the latest example, today I spoke with Michael at 9:30 AM, who claims to be a manager and rudely told me that he would call me back after 3 PM without even listening to my situation. Lynn Hiester February 5, 2009
A young man (id.#0989) sold us two magazine subscriptions which were Bon Appetit, 36 issues, and Games for Windows, also 36 issues. One subscription was $54.00 and the other was $68.00 with a $10.00 process and handling fee for a total of $132.00. This was done on 5-21-08. We have yet to see either one of them, and I'm afraid we probably won't after going on-line today and seeing the other complaints. My order number is 1336925 and the phone number that he gave me was 757-818-9497. I hope this might at least help put a stop to this! Lynn Hiester read full review »

I paid almost $500.00 for 'guaranteed results' from startraffic.net. They SAY they sent out our ads but we never gave final authorization to send anything. The ads, if sent, were delayed nearly TWO MONTHS. Startraffic.net has said they will send proof the ads were sent but never has and will not answer my emails. I'll post the outcome here. If they stand behind their guarantee and either get us results by sending out an APPROVED Ad campaign or refund our payments, I'll post it here. Maybe it's an oversight but for now I would be very cautions about dealing with startraffic.net. read full review »

These people are scamming. Being new to the city with a job transfer, my children wanted to go to underground Atlanta.
