Heritage Volkswagen
Dollores December 15, 2008
I bought my car in January of 2001. It is a used car (VW Passat 2000), but because there was no previous owner, it was bought as a new car with a new car warranty. Ten months later my car started jumping, when I stopped the car, and then the check engine light came on. I took it to the Dealer where I bought it from, and they said it would take $700 to fix, because I needed a new MAF(Mass Airflow Sensor). I paid it, because I had no choice at that point. Eight months after that, the check engine light came on again. This time I... read full review »

TNT Parker Auto Broker
Evan December 15, 2008
This auto broker made me several promises to fix the things on my vehicle that needed tending to but, after I signed the papers and they took my money NOTHING got fixed. They told me to bring them the vehicle and they would take it to a service shop to get some things on it fixed. I brought it to them and went home. I came back out later and saw them working on the vehicle in their car lot! I guess they figures they had my vehicle I wouldn't see them. When I got the vehicle back they told me they took it to their service guy. Some of the... read full review »

Brookshire Bros. Conoco
Loretta Davis December 15, 2008
I paid at the pump with the visa prepay card from Wal-Mart. I received $10.00 worth of gas, my card was charged $35.00. I have talked both to the manager of the station and to the customer service of the visa card and each respectively blame the other for the mistake. This is 12/15/2008, they say it will take approx. until 12/20/2008 to correct this error. I have used charge cards for years and have never had anything like this happen. How could this have happened and why do I have to wait so long to get the re-embersement? read full review »

Maaco center
Karen December 15, 2008
Took a vehicle to Maaco # M1469 in Turnersville for prep & paint. a portion of the prep. was to "cut and weld" a 3"X5" rust hole. The bill for Maaco service was $1527.62. The vehicle was brought back to maaco for sloppy work and the fact the vehicle was painted TWO DIFFERENT COLORS. OK. so that gets fixed. Recently the 3"X5" patch that was to be "welded" started to pop up, it was discovered the patch had been GLUED with Liquid ADHESIVE. MAACO refuses to stand behind their "Body Work" as "Warranty... read full review »

Chrysler Dodge Jeep sales
William Thauberger December 14, 2008
When I purchased a 2006 Dodge Caravan from Maple Ridge Chrysler for $17, 600. on April 2, 2008, they proved to be devious, dishonest and untrustworthy. Prior to the sale, they were over friendly, driving me to and from their lot, offering me hotdogs, coffee and even paying for my lunch. But BEWARE: To facilitate a tough sale, they pledged, "SATISFACTION OR YOU CAN RETURN THE CAR, UP TO ONE MONTH." Freeway speeds produced abnormal road noise, and the upholstery reeked with cigarette smoke, so I returned the car. The dealership was not... read full review »

Pat Peck Kia
kevin lentz December 12, 2008
We purchased a kia in 2006 and while we were pretty happy with the car, the service department at pat peck was the worst I've seen in 30 years of buying cars, when the motor on the front seat went out and we couldn't get the seat to back up we were forced to drive two inches from the steering wheel for TWO MONTHS while they constantly kept screwing up ordering the part. They were surly and rude every time we were there over two years and once told us our warranty was expired despite us having the paperwork right in front of us. A... read full review »

I was told at the time I purchased the car that if I kept my payments in good standing I graduate from weekly payments to bi-weekly and then to monthly payments, which I have done. My daughter was in from out of town and needed service on her Audi A4. She is a traveling nurse and carries a gun for protection. She purposely locked her gun in the glovebox of her car, but upon leaving the dealership, she noticed the glovebox unlocked and her gun missing. Upon contacting the dealer, the service manager, Janet, was rude, unprofessional, and extremely defensive. She wound up saying we could not prove anything, therefore they were not liable. read full review »

VA Tire
Gregory December 11, 2008
You are virtually GUARANTEED to be encouraged to spend more money than you need to at this business. I was told by a friend who had issues there that despite having a car that was serviced only a month earlier that my inspection WOULD fail, and it did. Nothing was substantiated, but i'm sure they'd have happily overcharged me for the brake job they indicated was needed. Almost every customer in there for the 45 mintues i was waiting was told more was wrong with their vehicle than anticipated. Multiple selling is a common tactic, but one this service station takes to unethical heights. read full review »

I purchased a new 2007 Acura RDX with Michelin Pilot tires. Within 7 months, I experienced two sidewall blowouts while traveling at highway speed. I travel on well maintained and heavily traveled roads. Both times, I was told I must have ran over "something" . Both were large holes in the sidewall. I replaced both tires with more the same tire, bought at the dealer for over $300 per tire. The vehicle takes a hard to find size tire. Last month, the remaining two original tires went flat overnight. I gave up and bought 4 new Bridgestonr... read full review »

My husband got a quote from Tuffy for some AC repairs. We elected not to have the work done with Tuffy, but they opened a credit card in our name for the total of what we had been quoted for the work. The first credit card statement arrived at an address where we had lived the previous year - the address was certainly never provided by us. We are now fighting the credit card company and the collection agency. This has been going on for 8 months, and is still unresolved. I was told by the insurees claim representative Mr. Harrelson that he was not going to pay for all the days I rented a car because the car should have been fixed in 3 days. The reason why the car sat at the shop in pieces was because Mr. Harrelson refused to put new parts on my car, so when these parts he "approved" were ordered they did not fit my car.
