The general contractor the was mentioned (BRYAN HERNANDEZ AND BENI HALAVA the company president), is part now of a company called "Alpha Aluminum Services", located in Davie, and no surprise they are still scamming people. KitchenAid - www.kitchenaid.com April 2007 the glass on our Kitchenaid gas cooktop exploded with glass everywhere. Our kitchen is 30' long and 20' wide and glass covered it. We contacted Kitchenaid and their response was we somehow damaged it. We bit and ordered a new glass top. September 2007 the glass top exploded again. Toro - www.toro.com I bought some Toro brand valves for the sprinklers in my front and back yards about six years ago. Now Toro no longer makes parts for these valves. So I have to buy new valves (definitely not Toro!) and I have to pay someone to dig up the old valves, cut them out, put in the new ones, and replace the dirt. That will probably cost at least $500. I can not believe that that a company would make a product that you attach to a sprinkler system and bury in the ground and then stop making replacement parts for it only six years later! Kenmore Front Load Washer - this wash machine has mold that continually builds up behind the door gasket and I believe around the drum itself. I have tried to keep it clean but to no avail, our towels smell something awful. I have called Sears 3 times, but only get a runaround, the only option they provide is to have a technician come out ($59.00) and diagnose the problem, which I already know. I cut my toe on the razor sharp edge of the warming oven. 4 stitches required. Others in family have also been cut by oven. This is not a defect limited to my stove. Frig set at recommended settings the vegetable and meat drawers are at or below freezing (30 to 32degrees) Had multiple service calls with so called fixes and still have problem. Set frig to max and the veg compartment will only rise one or two degrees. The damper at the top of the frig clicks and clacks all the time. This part has been replaced 3 times and still have the problem. Sears has no ideas except to send a different person each time. Maybe they think they will wear us out. I have purchased a 17 piece Ultrex Gourmet Quality Cookware set from HSN with a 50 year Warranty. After using the pots and pans, the teflon part of it started peeling off. I purchased Empire Floors for hardwood and carpet for my home. After initial problems, (like the lead person talking on his cell phone all day about how there was a warrant out for his arrest), the hardwood floor was installed. It seemed fine. The selling dealer (The Maytag Store in Higley AZ) provided me with Rebate certificates on the washer, dryer and one of the refrigerators.
