No one cares, and no one is willing to help me in a timely manner. I recently repainted my kitchen with its nearly new Aristokraft kitchen cabinets (less than 3 years old). To mask, I purchased Scott's painters tape at Home Depot. When we pulled the tape off, off came the finish from the sides of 8 kitchen cabinets. In a recent trip to the Jockey Club in Las Vegas (Sept. 28, to Oct. 5) the construction in and around the place is extensive. The construction (building twin towers; City Center) basicly goes on 24/7 and the noise from the construction can be plainly heard during the night and day. It appears that this is a company that doesn't recognize Canada's Thankgiving. My latest billing had a due date of Oct 8th (Thanksgiving) when Canadian banks were closed. I paid the bill through online banking on Oct 5th (Friday) but because of the weekend and Thanksgiving this was not noted as received until Oct 9th. (It shows as paid on Oct 5th) I was charged a late penalty (the bill shows payment received on the 9th). Calling the 888 number had this corrected (or it will be on the next bill hopefully). In July '04 we purchased the Kenmore Washer at Sears based on Consumer's Reports recommendations and the dependable "Kenmore" name. I have purchased Whirlpool washing machine Model WM - F65 on 1-1-2007 ( Date of Manufacture by the Company was 16-11-2006 ) in Trivandrum . In December 2006 my husband bought me a table and chairs for Christmas. In April I noticed that the table was peeling and one chair cushions was also having a problem. I called Roomful Express in May and the company sent out a gentlemen to look at the items. Roomful Express was to replace the table top and the chair cushion. It is now October and Roomful Express still has not replaced the items. Every time I call to find out what is going on the keep telling us that its the manufacturer they are waiting to hear from. Hello, Approx three months ago Bensons Beds delivered some beds for me, the day before I had my whole house carpeted in cream colored (very expensive) carpet. Our brand new Whirlpool top-loading washer (model WTW5800STW0) was defective as soon as it was installed. The warranty repair was made (after a 2-week delay) and the same problem persists. Multiple calls and the problem is still not resolved. Whirlpool needs to improve its quality control in the factory so new machines are not shipped with defects. This fake online service goes out of there way to find credit card users info, than hit them with unknown charges. If you fail to catch it the first time they repeat the process to see how long they can get away with it. Your card company can only charge back a few months. The scam comes from Athomerewards or Passporttofun, which I report once and change my card number so it would not be hit again. 1 1/2 years ago I purchased a matching GE Profile washer and dryer because in the last 40 years I've had two GE washers that worked really well. The Profiles are a disaster. I bought an alarm system from Brinks Home security at the beginning of 2007 and have had nothing but problems. The alarm goes off at least once a week for no apparent reason. On 9/1/07, we had a blackout in our house. My wife called Citywide Electric for service as I was out of town. She agreed to the diagnostic fee of $19.50 over the phone. They sent an electrician to inspect the problem. The electrician quickly found that the breaker was tripped. He reset the breaker without prior negotiation of additional fees.
