Recently, my husband and I solicited our local Menards to puchase replacement windows for our home. We also purchased two doors, which fit perfectly. Wasted the money on an extended warranty through Maytag on a GE Profile Harmony Washing Machine. Called October 31st to request service. It is now November 26th and I still do not have a working washing machine! Family of 5 and no washing machine. The society where I am living (Swapnapurti) is being managed by fools. 2 days ago, I noticed that the tap in the kitchen was continuously running and not closing properly. I called the supervisor (Sachin), he said that he will send the plumber and disconnected the call. The plumber came and without inspecting the tap said the tap need to be replaced and vanished. On Nov. 17,2007, purchased a simmons mattress set from ashley furniture for 1091.00. The sales rep never informed us that there was a no exchange or refund policy on the mattresses. This is my first experience with Ashley Furniture. I visited and purchased a dining room set on August, 26, 2007. At the time of my visit the salesman, had the contract drawn up... when it was completed, he said there is no need to read all of that I'll tell you what it says and where to initial. Recently booking for refilling LPG cylinder of HP Gas over telebooking line 1716 from my residence has become very difficult. Whenever I try to connect 1716 from my residence I get response "due to some technical problem I am unable to process your request. We apologise for your inconveniance". This company continued to bill me after several calls and letters to discontinue service. I canceled the service FOUR years ago but the billing stilling continued. I was promised delivery and it never happened on November 24th. A plethera of excuses were made... including "no one was home"... NOT. I purchased a mattress and box springs April 2003 from a local Bed Outlet. It was a Marsala Plush set with low profile Box. This is the email I sent to GE: "I have lost confidence in your product. I am now on my 3rd hot water heater and 5th Watt's relief valve. The 1st tank leaked around the plastic at the base of hot water side. The 2nd leaked around both sides and out of one of the dimple holes around the relief valve. I have had cabinets installed by home depot, pull out of existing cabinets started november 13th. Cabinet install on november 15th finishing the next day. The following day, we began to put our kitchen back together when we noticed a puddle of water on floor under dishwasher and all along wall of new cabinets. Have requested refund of tendered deposit for a build out for a franchise business. MSEB is the worst electricity board I have ever seen. I am fed up with daily 6 hours powert cut in our area (Dombivli, MIDC). I recently received a letter from Afni, Inc indicating that I owe 111.28 for a verizon account that they claim I owe since 1998. It has been 10 years so I do not have any recollection of this bill but I can say I never received a bill prior to moving. I am rather surprised that I am being charged for a bill that is 10 years old. I have no proof that I actually owe this money. I had a $49.95 dollar coupon that ended up $4,518 dollars. I told him I was a first time home buyer and that he could be ripping me off. The technician told me if he did half the job I would run the risk of the furnace breaking down and it would cost me 10-15 thousand to get a new one. We are going on two months without any hopes of having our Sears, Kenmore washer repaired. Our Kenmore washer quit, so we called for warranty repair. Two weeks later a repairman finally came. I have a problem with my LPG tube which needed replacement and we have been calling the customer service number for over 2 weeks, but there is such a callous attitude that they are not bothered at all. We tried to contact the local gas distributor-Indane TUCS Double Tank Road, Kk Nagar, Chennai. I requested Gary of Gary Price Pools to recondition my white marble-lite pool surface (badly stained) with black plaster to look like a rock pool. He was commissioned in July 2007 and a final payment totalling R36194.00 paid via eft on 11/08/07 (value of the plaster job was about R12000.00).
