I called Verizon Wireless to cancel service in January 2010. Was talked into just suspending my account. I was no longer under contract with Verizon. The agent convinced me to just to into suspended mode without billing...meaning that I would not be billed for 90 days. On a recent vaction trip to New Orleans by car My navigation with the map update screen froze. Trying to correct the problem while driving I nearly swerved off the road. I wished I would have seen all these complaints about Travelocity before I made my reservations. Travelocity will scam you for all the money they can get. I made a hotel reservation for three nights. The site said neither theyn or the hotel would charge for any changes, if the changes were done more than 24 hours prior to arrival. I called to change to two nights rather than three nights. Mr. Nogales and Mr. Desaracho posed at attorneys and guaranteed my parents a loan modification and loan audit on their home. After failing to perform any of the work they guaranteed they came back and explained that my parents need to pay more money for legal representation for litigation. This is a bait and switch. When Save my home usa first called me they were not a non-profit organization. As I was submitting payment they were changing their name to Franklin united. It was until I submitted payment did they tell me they were a non-profit organization since the name change. After payment, I have not had any contact with these people, the numbers have changed, and no one returns my phone calls. Most people don't realize is that Los Defensores (and Alivio Legal and 1-800-THE-LAW2) is NOT a law firm, it is a just a referral service to law firms. They charge as high as $5000-7000 per month for a lawyer to advertise with their service. They simply take the initial call through a call center, ask some questions, and then refer it to one of their "panel" attorneys who has paid them big bucks to get that referral. I signed up to get the free trial for 3.87. In this part of the deal, they held their word (besides an international pos fee). However, I called before the trial period ended because I had not received the product and got a 10 day extension, supposedly. On the original trial end date, I got charged $88 and when I called to complain they told me to wait 2 weeks to get my money back and that I was correct about the extension but they were also correct in charging me. This company had me come in for not one but two interviews in White Plains, NY. It was a 65 mile drive for me one way as well as paying $5 to go over the bridge into NY. The first interview was with a manager who breifly asks you about your experience. Sears' A&E Services sent out a truly incompetent technician to our house THREE times to repair our dishwasher. Each time, he ordered a completely new part and tried to install it. On the third time, he even broke the latch door. (This was a brand new, top of the line stainless steel dishwasher.) I am writing to you to complain about an ongoing issue with Dollar Bank, Monroeville, PA 15146. I have been a customer for 30 years. Just recently I have slapped with NSF fees for my check being held in my account and not available for my needs. Thursday May 21, I depostited a check into my account from my retirement. I ordered rootstock and had to correct the ship to address. I sent them an email to correct, as requested in the email to confirm the order. They claimed they could not make a correction without an additional $10 fee! They claimed the order had already been sent, but that turned out to be a lie! I told them not too...they did it anyway and then proceed to double ship and double charge me for the products. The Instaflex company took 74.98 from my account in January. Soon after I received the product I called the customer service no. and got a RMA no. to return the product . I took it to the post office and handed it to the postal worker and still did not receive the refund. They tell me they never received it. How did they get to me? He assumes if student from a particular has done a mistake.He takes for granted that all students of that school do the same mistake.Without even interviewing or testing the candidate he would say whatever you have put in that resume is all fake b'cos I had a bad experience with one of the student from your college. He rates his candidates not on basis of their work but on basis of their schools from which they are from. I fecently bought a part at Hobbie Auto Center, Oroville CA, which I the next day found I could not use. Traditionally, in the parts business there is toleration about accepting returns so long as they are in perfect condition. (Just as I in turn never thought of complaining that the part offered to me was in a torn open package). However, on returning the part I was confronted with a 35% re-stocking fee. Do Not give them your money first! get your service and product, THEN pay for it, just like anywhere else. They will not go along with the contract to have your product delivered in a timely fashion. I was super excited about getting a new turntable for my birthday. I could't decide between brands or models, but finally decided to go with Innovative Technology "Aviator" in cholcolate. When I received the turntable it didn't look new. In fact, it looked used. I decided if it worked, the looks wouldn't be that big of a deal.
