This internet retailer carries very nice merchandise. But if there is a problem, forget it. One pair of slacks I purchased arrived soiled. The owner was outraged that I complained, suggested I was lying, and further, that I should complain to the shipper. Eventually she promised to send a UPS return tag, but never did. Also, told me to go buy my own box (she sent in a bag that was destroyed on opening). I had putted in orders for TransBay 10-Ride Ticket. Because AC Transit decided to remove TransBay tickets with TransLink, I removed my orders starting 8/2009. I had these charges of $49.84 and $28.71 billed to my debit card account in addition to the $1.95 initial fee. They never return calls and bank on you not complaining or filing a dispute. in 2007 I purchased engineered hardwood floors, a Brazilian Ipe from Anderson Hardwood Flooring's Magellan line. Within 1 week of installation the boards started to lighten along the edges and split. The wood was separating from the finish. Anderson sent out an inspector and he determined that the wood was indeed defective and theorized that the wood had not been cured long enough before the finish was applied (quality work from China where the wood was processed). We replaced our pool liner one month ago and found a hole 3 feet wide. the pool drained overnight. REC Warehouse and its installation contractor TopNotch claim not being responsable for its liner. In late june I purchased a new 2007 hyundai accent from duncan hyundai. After only 2000 miles the check engine light came on. I took it back. Ok, I open the dex phone book and I see 3 coupons that state "full service hand wash" includes 100% handwash, dust wash, vacum interior&ash trays, clean windows inside and out expires 3/31/08. Auto Dealerships are at an all time high with selling junk to customers. This particular dealership sells junk knowingly. When you purchase a car, they tell you to get an extended warranty, which means absolutely nothing and then want you to pay for a car that you are not getting service from. The sales manager is always busy and the owner is never there to speak with you. You are constantly being told that they will see what they can do now that they have your money. I had an 800 # through AT&T and advertised it on our business ad in the yellowpages at $1200.00 a month for 12 months. 9 months into the ad, I find out the 800 # has been disconnected and sold to another company 14 months previous. I had the procedure about 2 years ago, since that time my eyessight has degraded. Wanting to use the lifetime enhancement promise, I contacted the company.
