On June 15, 2009 I had a boy that came to my apartment and knock on my door. He claimed that he was being home schooled and that he was earning money to go off to college and also wanted to earn a trip. All I had to do was buy some magazines. I have been fraudulently been deducted $72.21 from this company for several months and have tried diligently to cancel an item I never ordered. My bank Chase stated that they can not reimburse me until I have cancelled what I have not ordered, for several months I have tried calling to get a voicemail stating that operator is not availible transferring to system operator and system operator is not available. I am mentally disabled and unemployed in the process of filing for disability. Last year James City County Social Services bought me heating equipment for the winter. The city picked and hired the company, not me, and a man from Revere Gas came out to take measurements and forced me to sign paperwork against my will. Beware Shell contest cards. The marketing staff want your private ID data. If you win a $10 free-fuel card, you can't trade the card for gas at the local Shell station. You must send your private driver's-license data to a separate nameless company. Shell says it's to verify winners are over 18. That could safely happen if winners showed their license at the local Shell station (where the free-drink cards are accepted). Shell says it’s confidential. We’ve heard that before. I mailed in my paperwork for my Amazon gift cards around the end of Feb. Finally contacted them in June and they said that all was in order that I would receive the emails containing my gift cards at the end of the 16 weeks processing period. After 19 weeks I contacted Jason via email and still have had no response. This should be considered false advertisement and if my issue is not resolved by the end of the week I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. I had a sprinkler system installed last year and at the time of installation Rain 4 Sale hooked my timer up on the same circuit that runs my well pump. When the two were on at the same time the circuit was overloaded and the breaker would trip. This happened to me one morning while showering for work. Needless to say I was not pleased. I ordered expressberry and was not happy with the results, I cancelled within the time frame indicated on the original order. They have billed me for 88.00 for each month for the past 3 months and never sent me addl mdse after the introductory bottle. They simply sold me a juicer for $99.00 + shipping. The juicer showed where the strainer removed all the pulp and left only juice. That is not true. We made orange juice that you could eat with a spoon because if you tried to drink it, you would choke to death! I did not try to return it because my busy schedule prevented. Read of a brighting receipe that included Nutri Brite. By the time I recieved all the items for the "free" trial I had paid $9.00 in shipping and the Nutri Brite company started sending orders costing $90 a month. I called and cancelled all orders but Nutri Brite said I was past the 21 days of their terms, so they were keeping every penny of my money. When I called back with my credit card company they then tried to saw I was yelling at the woman; which was not true. USED CTS- Purchased this car with the understanding that it had Driver 1 & 2. When this feature would not work I took the car in to get it fixed. I purchased a television set from Price Mad in July 2007 with a 5-yr extended warranty. In Sept 2008 the television went bad. I called Price Mad to get the warranty info. They said they shipped me the warranty card via DHL and if I did not have the card there was nothing they could do. They say they don't track warranty information. A four year old York A/C has a major coil leak. The warranty states 10 year free labor and parts. Called the owner named Creg, said no longer works with York A/C and does not honor the warranty. I canceled my insurance with this company on the 15th of Aug. On the first of Sept. They deducted an amount out of my checking account. I called my former agent and she faxed the papers to them again. After she faxed them for the third time, they finally canceled the policy and refunded half of my money.
