Purchased a Blackberry phone w/pre-paid monthly service plan from a major local electronics distributor. The phone was fine 1/2 mile or further from my house. My partner has been charged and locked into a contract, but will not recieve any goods due to a clause that he was NOT informed of. To the contrary, all his previous calls to this company, he was told he would definitely recieve his goods within a week of the call. This happened 3 times. His latest phone call today, he was told, he cannot recieve his good (despited being charged for them) until his references agreed to sign up. I believe this company is a scam out to lead people on. Day before yesterday, May 26th 2011 I was forced to call the support hotline at Toshiba since I was unable to find an email address or live online support for my new laptop. The technician to whom I spoke promised to send me an email detailing how to do what I needed to do. I never received the message. I decided it was finally time for an upgrade from my Blackberry Storm since it kept having issues such as freezing up constantly. I bought a dv4-2112tx hp pavilion laptop from matrix centre. The first day it self the keyboard stopped working hp repaired but did not give a replacement. I ordered a set of Kingston DDr2 800 -8 Gb Memory Modules and payment of $70.00 was made. A few days later when inquiry of delivery of items were made via e-mail the sales manager tells me he does not have stock of the ordered item. I have emailed these people in China almost 30 times just to confirm this order prior to payment and they confirmed they have the product. But after payment was made they tell you they don't have stock. What a bunch of Scammers. Beware of them. This company is ridiculous. They offered a free trial of the Globe and Mail but their device would not download it - I just got error messages. The offer was for two weeks and if I cancelled then I would not be billed. As I never got the free trial but noticed that my Visa was billed. After complaining to customer service, repeatedly, they have taken the position that I should have cancelled after the free trial even though I did not get the free trial.
