I purchased 2 Bionaire humidifiers (BCM5520RC). They humidify beautifully as long as the filters work. However, the filters last 3 weeks at best using the instructions in the manual and not a moment longer. I wrote to Bionaire, to Holmes (who manufactures both the filter and the humidifier, and to Lowe's (where I purchased the product) advising them that the cost of the filter's are prohibitive to the running of the equipment. I purchased a $900.00 set of gas (propane) logs from Ener-G-Tech in mid- November. I needed the logs and a propane tank installed. I asked the salesperson (you must be waited on by a salesperson, this business is not self-service)if they install. He informed me they had a list of plumbers they recommend. This man was to send me 3 "processed cords" of wood and the price was $465.00. When the driver arrived, he was having trouble getting it out of the dump truck, (was frozen or something), and I had to leave to drive my son to work. I recently purchased a full sized box spring and mattress from this company, located in Gainesville, FL. Although their customer service skills were satisfactory, and they delivered when they promised to, the mattress itself SUCKED! I purchased 33 replacement windows in March 2004 for my 30 year old house. Re: woodstoves including Summers Heat, Englander, and timberidge. these are sold by Lowes as well as other distributors. We purchased our woodstove through Lowes in 8/05. In April and June 2006, I paid this company a total of about $4000 as a 50% of price of a BBQ. Since November 2006, I try to contact them asking for the delivery of the BBQ, First they told me that they will not deliver before January 2007. Now they don't answer any phone call. The brother of the owner, P. Bovard, told me that his brother has filed for bankruptcy, but the records of the bankruptcy at the San Bernandino Bankruptcy Court does not confirm it as of January 12, 2007. We have a double Americast porcelain sink which was installed in our remodeled kitchen approximately 7 yrs ago. Over the past 10 months, the top ridge of the sink has been cracking a rusting and the back lip where nothing touches it has chipped off porcelain and is cracking and rusting. I ordered a storm door. I said, per their instructions, standing inside looking out my current storm door has hinges on the right. They sent me a door which had hinges on the left. First of all, the mattress will arrive in 3 parts that you have to put together in a cover. Nowhere on the website is this mentioned. We were very shocked when it arrived this way. I had a pipe leak Nov 2006 that required emergency plumber visit. the plumber came and quoted me $1000 to repipe a small section, less than 3 feet. It was a Sunday and veterans day weekend so i let him go ahead and do the work. this plumber and this company takes advantage of other people's situation. the quote is overpriced. normally something like that costs not more than $500 being a Sunday, holiday weekend and emergency. cannot understand how this company in good conscience charge me that amount. I have been dealing with Aaron's since 2003 when I leased a big screen TV from the store in Poughkeepsie, NY. I relocated back to Georgia in 2005 and have since opened accounts in the Conyers and Stockbridge locations. We contracted Rona to install a new bathtub in our home. They sent a subcontractor that was not qualified to do the work. He did plumbing and electrical work and he is neither an electrician or a plumber.
