If you use State Farm Insurance run, don't walk, to another company fast! They take your money but give you every hassle in the book when it comes to paying. They won't follow up on collision claims when you have your car repaired under collision insurance. I purchased hardwood floors and needed the glue to install them. I went to Lowes to the flooring dept. where I was told what glue to use. Upon reading the label it read "Not For solid wood". I pointed this out to the so called PRO and was told that my flooring was considered plank and it was the right glue. I installed the floors and within 2 weeks it was coming up. This complaint concerns a commercial install performed for a non-profit organization. After almost six months, we still don't have a fully-functioning system and are out nearly $8,000. They remodeled my kitchen 2 years ago, and the work was shoddy, sloppy and they refused to acknowledge their errors. I had 7 kitchen cabinet glass doors installed, and because of an error they made in placing the hinges, the doors were attached in a manner that was jury-rigged and much less sturdy than they were originally. We had two sump pumps die on us in February. We went to the Sears store with them, they had a lifetime warranty, the store said we had to take them to the repair center. We took them to the repair center and they said they do not touch sump pumps they have to be replaced. We then called Sears and they said they had to send out a tech to check them. The cake burned after cooking only 10 minutes, the thermostat was 100 degrees off. On November, 4, 2006, I purchased 14 tubes of Mapi Keracaulk from Fontile. The quantity was determined by my contractor, who grossly over-estimated the amount needed. The Fontile employee who sold me the caulk said I could return any unused stock for a refund. Fontile refuses to issue a refund on the 9 unused tubes of caulk.
