TRANSACT-BILL.COM
izzohardman January 22, 2010
Yeah..i got fucked too..I traced out the web addresses and IP addresses and it looks like the main point of operation is in Montreal Canada with money being funneled to Russia through medidome.ru. Unsuspecting people go online and sign up for music or software at unrestrictedownloads.com...you are then redirected to mediome.ru where your information is taken for your card. The actual billing is done by marketbill.com and or transact-bill.com. I was unable to pull domain info for mediadomne.ru as the Russians don't list anything... read full review »

i was scammed. i ordered the free trial of nu age colon cleanse and before i even received the product, a charge of $89.67 showed up in my bank account. when i called to complain i was told that i had agreed to subscribe at some point and time when i requested the free trial. i told the operator i wanted to cancel my "subscription" immediately and that i wanted my money back. they said that they could cancel my subscription and do me the favor of refunding $40.00 only. exasperated, i agreed . the next day, ANOTHER charge showed up in... read full review »

Freedom Debt Relief (FDR)
Jimcan January 22, 2010
I was a member of the program for 6 months and paid in exess of $6000 total while in the program. They settled one account after about 3 months for $2600. The balance in my account was $600 when I cancelled the program. Freedom Debt Relief FDR charged me $400 + as a service fee for the cancellation. Global Client Solutions (GCS) claimed that remaining $200 was sent to me. I never received the check. FDR, GCS, and Rocky Mountain Bank & Trust are big time SCAMMERS. Best Buy Co., Inc.
JollyRancher January 22, 2010
Needing over $2, 500 in electronics I researched the 18mos interest-free Best Buy account offer. I was told that if I opened a Best Buy account I would have 18 mos interest-free to pay off my purchase. I filled out the application in-store. At no point was I ever informed that I was NOT opening a line of credit with Best-Buy, or I NEVER would have opened the account. I was opening an account with HSBC Retail Services that has limited banking hours only avail by phone. I wanted to pay off the balance in person using my savings account which I... read full review »

Attitash Mountain Village resort

My family and I we went to Attitash Mountain Village resort on vacation with an RCI exchange with Disney Vacation Club. -This resort is bad. No other words. Definitely not worth the price. Here's a few facts from our January 2010 vacation there: -Their web site provide no address to enter in your GPS. Their web site says (and good luck getting this in your GPS): "Our Address: US Route 302. PO Box 358 Bartlett, New Hampshire 03812"; -When you check in, they give you a map. The map is simply wrong. Mr. Roy P. Miller and Ms. Sone are not to be trusted. I worked in good faith for them for several months and never received a dime of my commissions nor any of my last paycheck which was promised to me. They kept my personal property. I have first hand knowledge of the mistreatment of employees and students, as well as violations in the law regarding "internships" which were used as free maid services for mr. Miller and Ms. SOne. Mr. Miller is acutally a lawyer known for defending scumbags and I wouldn't trust him as a lawyer if I were you! read full review »

Me, my girlfriend and her three children moved into a townhome in Santee Ca. I used the SDG&E website to switch my service from my appartment to the townhouse giving them two weeks notice (they request 5 days). On the day I moved, I was told my service would not be connected at the townhouse for three more days, when I asked why, I was told they didn't process my request until two days ago, and they require five days. It didn't matter that I had submitted the request two weeks early. After getting the run around with CSR'... read full review »

Your Healthy Hub (Bromolite)
Debra Sanders January 22, 2010
This complaint is a combined one with BROMOLITE and YOUR HEALTHY HUB. When I signed up for BROMOLITE, I unwittingly signed up for YOUR HEALTHY HUB, also, since it was not properly advertised on the main page information, but rather sneakily put in the terms and conditions. When I cancelled BROMOLITE, I thought I was done, but then I started seeing charges of $29.95 on my debit card, and found all this out. Admittedly, I didn't read the terms and conditions, as it is usually just legal jargon about what the company can and cannot do for... read full review »

Thermal Windows
RicO45 January 22, 2010
Do not use this company, they lied to us and are now refusing to back their product they are telling us it's our fault that their product is faulty because we use propane to heat our house. The windows sweat and have since they were first installed. They offered to refund the money & then in the next sentence turned around and said they would simply send us a dehumidifer. They are rude to your face while they are sitting in Your home. I would definatly not recommend this company ever again we trusted them because they were a local company who had been in business for over 30 years, but the mistake was apparently ours in not doing our research. read full review »

Scam from used car dealer. The seller requested a $ 400 deposit on a vehicle prior of processing the sale. The seller has been informed that the payment will be sent from other country since the seller did not want to be paid via paypal but insisted on bank check or wire transfer. The seller has been informed that the vehicle would have to be checked by independent company before he would been paid in full and the seller promised that he would refund the deposit after being paid in full. Now the seller claims, that full payment has been received late, for which reason the deposit is forfeited. None of this claim is in any document received from seller. read full review »

In October of 2008 I changed telephone providers from Verizon to Digital Time Warner. I paid, what they told me was a closing bill, as a matter of fact according to my calculations I owed around $39.00, they billed me $94.00 and that they would return the difference after the account was closed on their end. Equifax' Credit Watch service failed to send me 10 e-mail alerts for over the course of more than a year. The alerts, for larger-than-usual increases on credit card balances, were listed on their website, but Equifax suddenly failed to notify me by email as they had for years before. Chase Mortgage Co.
jdoyle January 22, 2010
There's a very good reason the large banking companies are in hot. They deserve tighter regulation and punitive measures. I'm enraged with Chase, our home-mortgage co. A notice appeared on our January statement informing us that we had purchased an "optional product" that we had NOT purchased.
