This company is a real scam, they charge exhorbitant prices for phone service and long distance services. We inherited them as an exsisting vendor during an acquisition and I can't understand how they ever got the account & why no one questioned the outrageous charges they billed us for! In September 2009 my husband contacted New Line Equity about rent-to-own programs. The person on the phone got him to provide our bank information because they needed to charge for information about the home & program we asked about. In November 2009, we cancelled our Webroot. On Dec.2, 2009, we received our credit card statement and Webroot had charged two (2) renewals to our account for $59.95 each or a total of $119.90 We were NOT notified that Webroot was going to renew. We were not able to reach anyone by phone (866-612-4268) CO. Their recording suggested we go on the internet which we did. There was no form to submit our withdrawal. I purchased a samsung printer on or about February 2009 and the printer stopped working in October 2009. I was sent a replacement as they repaired mine. The replacement was defective also. A hold for $200.00 was put on my bank account and I had to send the replacement back first. I sent it back but they can't find it. So I have no printer, no refund and a h old on my account. For 3 months now I have complained to both American EVoice Ltd Voicemail and Verizon regarding unauthorized billing of 15.95 to a land line phone number that doesn't even receive phone calls!! These people are like a RASH that WON'T GO AWAY!!! After three separate requests to STOP my memberships and STOP billing my credit card they continue to bill me. They give me confirmation numbers each time and then the "conveniently" lose the record, so there are no records of my cvalls to cancel.
