I was recieving messages saying my virus protection (spy sweeper) was expiring. I was late in renewing and lost Internet connections. I contated the online payment option to renew. I just purchased an HP SimpleSave 1TB external hard drive back up system for my computer. HP's advertising says this is a hands free automatic backup. It's only automatic the first time you plug it in. After that it's a completely manual system that tries to start over from scratch each and every time you manually start it. If you are a novice computer user you would probably not even know that your system was unprotected. Nowhere in the documentation are you alerted to this fact. There is a whole section on their website showing special instructions on how to step by step use your cell phone to call someone elses home phone then you get charged if you answer it!!!
