My husband and I went to Suess Electronics in Appleton, WI and purchased a 50" plasma screen TV. We also decided to have them install Direct TV for us when they delivered the TV. They assured us we would have our TV within a week. After a week we still hadn't heard when our TV was coming. We went back to the store and the best the salesman could tell us was that it would be in within a month. I ordered a Griffin Airlink on 25th January 2009. My account was debited the £24.00 on 26th January 2009. I was told the item would be delivered betwen 3 and 5 days and as of today (12th February 2009) I am still waiting for the item. I have been robbed of £24.00. I attempted to order their Anti-virus software online. It did not download, but my credit card was billed for $55.83. I attempted the process a second time with the exact same results. I was promised that my credit card account would be credited for both amounts on 1/23/09 and it has still not happened. Very poor business practice. We purchased a Harbor Breeze 52" Triton Ceiling Fan a few months ago on sell. Item # 233576, Model # 192909. It worked fine for a short while, but it does not work with remote. It will only operate at one speed and one light (HIGH) with the wall switch - no response from remote no matter where I set the transmitter and receiver. It sucks. read full review »

My cashback has not been paid. I purchased two Compaq Preario Laptops. I submitted the required details for the cashback offer and received back from them two emails detailing that my two cashbacks would be paid on 29-Jan-2009 and 24-Feb-2009. It is now 12-Feb-2009 and I still have not received my first cashback. I have tried to contact compaq promotions and have not been able to get through to them, so I have left messages with them with full contact details. Deviant Computer did an awsome job building my computer. I got everything I needed in a neat little box and they did not rip me of anything. I looked inside my PC and also found all the cables neatly binded together along the side of the case and not just all over the place. They truely did a great job with customer service and technical support with always responding to my emails within about a 15 min time period it seemed. read full review »

I sent them two cell phones in the SAME package but only received credit for one. Of course the phone they credited was a cheap and common phone. The other phone they denied receiving happened to be more expensive and rare to find here in the US. I am very satisfied with Deal Extreme. Their prices are unbeatable (free shipping), and their service is top quality. Their products are also very good. I ordered 6 items but one of them did not come in the package, I contacted DX and soon they resent the missing product. Their representatives are very kind and helpful. Although shipping takes a while, it is to be expected because 1) shipping is free, and 2) it is being shipped from Hong Kong. 1) Ignorant or intentionally deceptive Sales staff. 2) Arrogant unhelpful management. First off, I had been very satisfied with this company for a few years until I recently returned a system for repair. It was shipped back to me missing the CPU and memory. (Celeron 433 and 128 MB DIMM) After many calls and attempts to get this situation remedied, I have finally given up dealing with this company. an AMD representative. After he ordered it, he informed us of his problems. I called AMD back they said nope, you cant use it. I was going on what I was told by the manufacturer of the Athlon, I also told this gentleman sorry and what had happened. He acted as though I was telling him a lie to cover my company when in fact it was complete and total truth. He did however recieve his money back with a full refund. I brought a battery for my laptop computer from Aeon Corp. The battery was defective out of the box and would not charge. Aeon corp sent me many emails asking me for information that seemed irrelevant to me, possibly as a stalling tactic. I provided the information. When they had not explanation as to why their product didn't work, I asked for a refund. They promised a refund but asked me to send back the battery and tell them the tracking number. I returned the battery but the company claims they didn't receive it and they haven't given me a refund. Jan 1st 2009, my Kstyler would no longer turn on. I called customer service and a supervisor answered the phone (WOW!) She was very nice and told me to send the flat iron back with a check for $19.99 for warranty replacement. She said that I would receive my new one in 7-10 days. The run-around and the problem I am having with Cosco and Hewlett Packard is not to be believed. I bought an HP Dekjet all-in-one printer 22nd Jan 2009. While trying to load the software supplied it came up with 'Fatal Installation Error'. I filled in the form given on the software and spent 2 weeks emailing backwards and forwards with HP USA who did try and help without success but did keep informing me that it had been passed on to a Regional Support Team. After being faithful with my updates and doing the required scans I caught the Brisv.Alinf Trojan and so I went to them and down loaded the supposed fix for the problem . Classic bait & switch shop (just like Prestige Camera). Ordered a low price TV, but was told that they only have it in stock in packages (i.e. if you spend a few hundred dollars extra for an extended warranty and a few cables), and that my order "might ship next month" otherwise.
