System Security makes you believe you have a computer virus and instructs you to buy their virus protection immediately to prevent a computer crash. I purchased a 2009 antivirus protection on december 4th 2008 because my computer slowed down and I kept getting pop ups saying my computer was in danger of a virus. I paid 49.99 and registered. I thought nothing of it until i got my credit card statement a month later and i saw a charge for 49.83 and a 1.49 foreign transaction fee for cure-soft shop moscow russia. I knew something was not right so I got on the computer and found out I had been scammed. I had to cancel my credit card and get new ones with a different account number. Bad service! I ordered an LCD cable for a Compaq V2000 and they sent me the wrong cable. No big deal right? Everyone makes mistakes sometimes. I double checked my invoice and it was obvious that they just sent me a different cable than the one I ordered. So I attempted to contact them. I mailed in the required documents by the date necessary, Sept 29th to be precise, and have yet to receive the rebate check. I called the automated phone line and it stated that the check was mailed on Dec. 15, however I have yet to see it and the date is now Jan. 12. I know it would not take a month in the snail mail system. I didn't receive any help on the automated phone system as it hung up when it said the check was mailed out on Dec. 15. A couple of weeks ago we purchased three used golf carts from ELECTRIC CART WAREHOUSE. We picked the three we wanted from what they showed as being available on their web site. I cracked the LCD screen on My 30GB Zune this is not covered by warranty so You have to choose someone else to repair and pay out of pocket OK. Found all Zune Repair on the net and they where showing up all over the place including ebay so they seemed legit. I prepayed for replacement screen and sent it in.That was Sept 5th of 2008. I purchased a Camera last December and have returned 5 times for the same Lens Error. I get the same reply every time We could not observe any malfunction. I have an Acer Spire 9410. Mine also broke by the hinges. I called Acer and they said that they have not received any other complaints about this problem and they refuse to fix the proble. I bought from Circuit City and got an extended warranty to it. They are also getting away with it by saying that was abuse, not normal use. The normal use of a laptop is by opening and closing the lid when you are going to use it and put it away. It is no concern to them that everything was completed as satisfied. They will not recognize the Manager at their site locations has verified the good work.
