Intelius - Identity Protect - how to get your money back
nololawnow October 25, 2010
I got taken for $339.15 because I didnt' get the monthly receipts via email and I use their services for other background checks so the $19.95 went unnoticed I'm sorry to say for 17 months. I've never used the Identity Protect service as I'm already a customer of a much more robust ID service. I contacted customer service and was only able to get 3 of the 17 payments credited back. My credit card company Chase, is telling me they can't help me - will go to one of their branch offices face to face as a next step. Here... read full review »

This site is most likely one of the best scam artists going. You order your goods, pay via debit, Visa or Mastercard. Then you look forward to your goods arriving in approx 12 days as per site details. Then nothing. There isn't a phone number or even an email address to contact them on, on thier site. The only email address you get is when you get your email saying thanks for your order. I have sent approx 15 emails to them over the last 2 weeks and not had a sintgle reply. read full review »

They had a lot of stuff to choose from, that was the only plus. I recieved my order with missing items, and those items were circled on my order sheet. I tried calling and e-mailing them and couldnt get ahold of anyone, and no one replied, FINALLY I got a hold of some one by phone (who left me on hold for 10 min), Who told me everything was shipped, then told me the items I wanted were out of stock because they were all just ordered yesterday, and that when my order was shipped they were in stock, so someone just decided NOT to put them in... read full review »

That wasover 90 days ago.I have received e mails from them stating they will charge me a fee if I do not respond. I have called numerous times and the voice mail box is allways full. I have e mailed and faxed and still have not received a response to my cancellation. read full review »

BE CAREFUL - This site is located in Costa Rica and is an online bingo and video poker community. Be careful funding at this site as your transaction may come back declined but they will debit your account anyhow. They will make it right, but it takes about a week and in the meantime you end up with all these non sufficient funds fees on your bank account which doesn't look good when you go to apply for credit. So while it may be fun, just be careful putting in your checking account or credit card numbers. read full review »

This website poses as a genuine supplier of electronic goods. I ordered a product from them, paid for it but I did not receive the goods. I tried asking them to either refund my money or send me the goods, but they ignored my emails. I also tried their online chat, but as soon as I mention about refunding my money or sending me the goods they switch from english and start communicating in Chinese. I also tried calling the telephone number on their website, but couldn't get anyone. read full review »

I ordered 4 pair of Uggs and was skeptical about the site and the price of the Uggs. I kind of thought it might be a scam, but I took a chance. It took quite a few weeks to arrive since they did come from China, like another person posted. My daughters and I love our Uggs, they were real Uggs and so comfortable.!! I'm getting ready to order another pair for each of us this year, but I'm reading that people did not receive their shipment. If you ordered and have received your Uggs, please let me know! read full review »

This company replaced 12 connecting roofs. When the job was complete the yard was full of roofing nails. The company had to be called twice to pick up all the debris that was left in the grass. Greystar Properties
Lthaney October 25, 2010
Fair Housing and Rent Control should exist for apartment residents. This is not the case with Greystar Properties in Austin Texas. Lowering rates to result in occupancy and then hitting the tenant with a rent increase of $200 a month. These greedy people even went to trouble to include a list of expenses we would incur if we didn't renew. I am a 71 yr old female who doesn't want to be shuffled around every 18 months because of greed. It may be legal but it isn't fair and it certainly isn't ethical. Tired of getting ripped off in this way. Please, speak up. read full review »

I am new to selling on Amazon. Posted some CD's. Sold one for $3.00. Shipping an handling allowance is $2.98. Amazon collects $5.98 from Buyer. Then Amazon takes away commission and fees of the amount $2.64 leaving me $3.34. Out of this money I still have to pay postage of $1.96 and $.50 for a padded envelope. Which leaves me not even a Dollar profit. Oh, I forgot. I still have to drive 3 miles to post office and back. What is wrong in this picture? Can someone please explain. read full review »

The worst service I've had in my life. I received a bike that I purchased there with a default crank’s thread. After calling the Customer Service they didn't want to do anything about it. After 2 weeks waiting they sent me a new pedal that of course didn't fit in the crank. After calling them more than 10 times at last they asked me to send them pictures from the crank so they could decide what to do. Of course they told me that the warranty didn't cover that piece and that I've to pay for that. So basically... read full review »

The website is fine. It is the company that is lousy. I ordered a t-shirt on line and payed immediately through paypal. The company would not send my item, nor would they respond to my attempts to contact them. This website is sickening! For one it is clear that this woman does not have a whole lot of experience in "teaching". Anyone can get a degree, but it takes a special person to actually be able to obtain all of the qualities to be a teacher. I get real frustrated at people who call themselves teachers, but have put in little, or no time into the actual practice. I have taught for about 12 years now and would never create such a "high horse" website. She also clearly does not know much about teaching elementary, and what... read full review »
