Just went to John’s Dry Dock in Generic Town, NC. The typewriter guy didn’t know what I was talking about when I tried to return my smoke-shifter. I had to pull the thing apart to show him that my left handed shifter was doing what a right handed shifter is supposed to do. Verizon promises speeds of up to 5 X faster than cable. This is not true. They only deliver the bandwidth into the house. The speed inthe house is not their problem. False Advertising on DELL vostro 220s when configure system there is an option to add build-in Bluetooth(341-7811 Selection made in Bluetooth section Vostro ). Called Dell sale before online order to confirm this is a internal bluetooth module. But when I received the computer, there is no bluetooth at all. My 1 year old Breville toaster died! It responds as if it is not receiving any electrical charge at all. Dead. After very light useage, maybe 1 toast per week. I bought in August 2008. Screen freezes after turning on the PC. You need to re-start the computer mulitple times. Hard drive was bad within 6 months of use. In addition, technical support is in Asia and they have a REALLY hard time communicating. They sent me a bad hard drive (which required me to spend an additional $230 at Geek Squad to diagnose and replace the hard drive). If your PC and the data is important to you (e.g. business use, photos, videos) DO NOT BUY this product. It has been a very expensive, stressful and frustrating experience. I called geek squad to fix my tv they told me it would cost me 150.00 for a diagnostic test. When there agent calls I give the information on the tv. Dell tech support does the same test over and over after being told these test already have been completed to fix the same problem, having replaced three video cards, mother board, and hard drive due to the same problem and spending over 20 hours on the telephone to india finally had to demand a supervisor for 15 minutes to get to one who would listen. all the rest just wanted to run the same test and then say i did not buy the unit as one basically calling me a liar. finally they agreed to send a refurbished tower to replace the one i have only had less than a year.
