Our daughter gaves an undercounter radio/cd player for our kitchen. We used it for several times over a weeks period of time, mayber 20 hours worth of time, when my wife turned it off and now it will not turn back on. The face is a light blue in color but nothing works on it. No radio, clock, cd nothing. I have unpluged it and left for an extended period of time, nothing. Becareful ordering from there online website, these guys do not have things in stock, even though they say they do. After ordering a Lian-li case from them, it took them 1 week and a phone call from me to there ordering department to find out that they won't have the case in stock for awhile. 4 months ago I was contacted by an ebay member offering me memory from a company by the name of BESTCOMPDEALS.COM (NOW CALLED MEMTECK.COM. I paid close to $800 for 8 512MB memory sticks. Recently purchased an amplifier from them. Email came from paypal (my method of payment) with receipt and information immediately and UPS a day or two later with tracking information. Terrible company. I would never buy from them again. They look good and the prices are reasonable on the outside, but once you've made a purchase, customer service is not only bad, it's awful. I managed to get my very expensive video editing system back to them before the warranty expired. I tried to setup an account with this company. After several telephone calls and Emails they still would not setup the account. Bought a Sony LCD at a great price. Delivered within 2 weeks by Manna distribution. TV and shipping was very good. I wood buy from them again. I googled Sony blu-ray players and then bought from the most reasonable site -- Tech Cyber Store. Instructions were to buy a Green Dot MoneyPak from a place like RiteAid as the method of payment. They said they'd deliver as soon as they received payment and I'd have a UPS confirmation number within 24 hrs after that. I bought the item on January 16 and Green Dot says the money was taken from the Green Dot card on the 19th. Place an order, received confermation of order few day lator receive an e-mail asking for us to call them. Called no one knew why e-mail was sent told us they would check on order and get back to us that day. No one called back. Two days later called them again to check on order was then informed just the day before product has been discontinued. They offer to get us a lesser product for the same price! I've sent Shawn Stewart (co-founder of Arena Computers) to collections. Even though that'll cost me, I've no alternative. I've waited a year(!) for him to produce my dream system, but stupidly waited because he had a constant stream of excuses: divorce, head injury (no kidding), the war in Iraq recalling his staff to duty (I'm not making this up), etc. He's obviously had some real problems, but that doesn't make up for broken promises and stolen pre-payments. Last year I subscribed to their download (utility software) service, $20. It never worked, and I emailed them several times trying to get a refund. Instead, I got form letter promises, no action. After purchasing my 52' LCD Sharp television in June 2008, I was excited to have view favorite shows and movies. I purchased three Panasonic KX-TGA510M handsets recently. When I received the order, one handset was missing the battery cover. I called immediately and the woman told me to call Panasonic directly and get it from them and if they would not give it to me then to call them back again (BUT she told me to call on Mon because they were closing). This is the worst place to get your computer fixed. I took my computer in to have my motherboard replaced only to get it home and the computer would not work. I took it back and the owner diagnosed it as having a totally different problem; a bad hard drive is what he said this time (I was charged $95 for this diagnosis even though he promised he would NOT charge me since I had to bring it back) Well I then, being the fool that I am, allowed him to replace my hard drive which cost me an extra $200.00. I purchased an Asus eeePC from which had an intermittent Bios problem which was on the first day. After calling them they sent me email telling me they would replace the unit _ GOOD LUCK - After driving for 1.5 hours to the store the, the service fellow said that because the unit was intermittent they would have to keep it and check it and then send it to ASUS for repairs if need. I ordered a OCD-33333 full ATX case, customised with 2 x 80mm @ 50cfm side blowhole fans. I ordered this on Saturday, the office obviously closed and got an invoice confirmation email first thing Monday. I asked if she would accept a personal check, wait til personal check cleared my bank, then, mail me the Palm V. The first time I did business through American PC, everything went well, and I was very pleased. Late on, I was planning on building some computers for friends, so I ordered the parts again through these guys. The order was easily filled out, and the parts arrived on time. Amcom is a poor example of online shopping. I ordered a motherboard and CPU from them. After 1 1/2 months of listening to excuses for not shipping my order I canceled the order. To this day they have not refunded my money; one excuse was they changed the company that handles their finances, and would mail me a check. Since then they have contunued to lie about sending the check. I have refered this matter to my bank as well as the Hayward City Attorney. Here's a followup to my post I made on 6 Sep. On 7 Sep, Alphanex agreed via email to credit my account $56, but did not do so. I contacted my credit card company to resolve this. They said I had to wait 30 days from the date that Alphanex said they would credit the account before they could take action. So, I waited with no credit for $56 hitting my account. Again, I called my credit card company. They sent me the appropriate paperwork which I filled out and returned with receipts and copies of emails and phone bills. More waiting. This company out of ohio doesnt pay its employees on time. They went from paying on time on a near flawless basis to paying the following week on a wed, now lucky to see money by fridays.
