Hello I ordered a replacement AC adapter for my Acer laptop. I went to the site, purposely choosing it because it claimed to be out of California. I placed the order February 8th, 2009. I purchased the Garmin nuvi 265WT GPS online because it was about $50 less than other online sites. I received an email with an instruction to call an 800 to confirm the order. I called the number and spoke to a rep named Paul who told me I needed the memory card if I needed to update the map. I declined to purchase the card. Eliot Management fast-talked me into buying a nonreturnable $600 credit card charging machine, leading me to believe that that would be the only cost to me of taking credit card payments except for 1 to 2 percent on each transaction. Turns out there are actually another $55/month in costs, $610/year, plus when I went to cancel I found I was according to them on a three-year contract (that would be $1830) with a $495 cancellation fee. I've turned it over to my lawyer but EM had me sign (which I stupidly did) an 18-page small-print contract, who knows what weirdness is in there. . anyway avoid them if you can!! I received E-mail from a spammed list and went to site. They advertised very low prices and responded back to my many questions regarding shipping, and ordering. I was scammed into thinking they were legitimate and ordered one of their products. After they received my money they sent back a phony customs notice with a request for $250.00 more in phony VAT. For almost a year now i have been waiting for a rebate from Bridgevain for a cable moderm / wireless router rebate of $39.95. I bought a 3G iphone in South Africa from a Vodacom, a national cell provider, last December but I live in Australia. I ordered A high end gaming pc on 1/31/09 that cost $1831 and there managment acts like you owe them something when there is a problem. I recieved my pc on 2/7/09 and it was dead out of the box. I sent my laptop computer to them to repair. They sent it back to me with a damaged busted corner saying I must have sent it to them with the corner damaged. The corner was not damaged when I sent it. I shipped it in the box with the foam packing forms they had sent me. The only thing I can assume is that someone in their shop dropped it on its corner but is trying to say it arrived their already busted. Bottom line they are therefore refusing to fix the problem it was originally sent in for. And sent it bck to me with a busted corner. As homeowner I purchased 41 Andersen windows and 16 Frenchwood patio doors for a new home that was completed in mid 1999. Within a month of occupancy, I informed Andersen that some of the windows were out of tolerance so that the Andersen screens could not be installed. I ordered a Garmin GPS. When I check on the order after receiving a confirmation number, the order stated pending. The next day I got a call asking for me to verify my order. I tried to call them at least 20 times and the line was busy. Then one minute past five (they were supposed to be closed) I got a recording. My call had gone through but the office was closed! Fishy! So, I emailed them to cancel my order. The next day, I get another call from Dennis asking me again to verify my order. I am not going to call them again. Thus far, my card has not been charged! They didn't tell me that there was a 7-10 day wait when I purchased a phone online . I paid $18.00 for next day delivery and on the order page it never said you need to wait an additional 7-10 days for them to process the order. There is free delivery in 7-10 days. So basically they scammed me out of $18.00 for a delivery date they were supposed to give to me for free.
