AVOID this company for IRAs. They'll charge an annual maintenance fee -- for doing absolutely NOTHING. They purchased my old brokerage that held an inherited IRA account. My boyfriend was bored at my work and saw a add on the internet for a free trial of a teeth whitener called Dazzle White. He thought all he would have to pay is shipping and handling. I purchased a 2003 BMW in 06-2008 and at the same time purchased a warranty by Auto Services Company. I since then have had to have work done to my car several times most recently within the past 7 days. Our mechanic contacted ASC and he was told that the warranty would not cover the work needed on the car. We then contacted ASC and were told the same thing. Do NOT be fooled by Carefree Energy Solutions in Simsbury CT. We signed a valid contract with the company for vinyl siding. About 2 weeks after the contract was signed, we were told that the sales rep measured wrong and they wanted $6, 000 more for the job or they would cancel the contract. The website offers a service to refinish scratched cds. I paid $34.95 for a 25 disc plan to fix 25 video games. I sent them 10 games and I didn't receive them back or hear for them. Then their website shutdown. So I got really nervous and sent them many emails and called them without ever getting a response. I went to Steinhafels in Kenosha, WI to purchase a Tempur-Pedic mattress. I knew exactly what I wanted before arriving. The first bad sign was when I saw their delivery truck being towed on Hwy 50. This is the worst dental office I have ever been to. The waiting room is always dirty. The staff is rude, incompetent and lazy. They have no idea what the word appointment means and once I sat waiting for THREE HOURS past the time of my appointment to see the dentist. We recently took our 2007 Toyota Matrix which has a little over 28, 000 miles in for service because the check engine warming light came on last week. I went to David Kleiman after hearing advertising that was completely false. The advertising said a price that was at least half of what they wanted from me after going there for an exam. There is nothing special about the lasik I need and they are complete liars, yes Dr. David Kleiman is a liar. You can see through the whole process what they are up to and at the end they tell me the procedure is going to cost almost 5000 dollars after advertising less than half of that. I order a pair of 6x9 speaker enclosures from this company back in April, on the 12th to be exact. They sent an e-mail stating it was shipped on the 13th of April. On June 11th I sent a complaint that it is taking to long. They replied that the item was back ordered. I then replied "Why did you state it was shipped on the 13th of April?". We rented a 31 camper from Woodlands Camper & RV over Memorial Weekend. They were very nice when we picked it up and explained everything involved. Very poor and sloppy interior paint job to 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Paint was on security system room monitors, furniture, and carpet. Paint was also on bed comforters and linens.
