Damrak Inn Hotel
On Friday 10/06/2011 we checked in in Damrak inn Hotel situated in Damrak 58â€59, 1012LL AMSTERDAM for 2 nights. We had 2 reservations, one through a web page agency and the second directly through the hotel.
The accommodation conditions were unacceptable. A window could not be shut down and it kept widely open letting in street noise, cold wind and mosquitos . The solution from the hotel was to stick a map paper. (Attached picture).

Called for some additional information from their customer service and the guy was SOOOO rude I was compelled to write this complaint. I wrote the company email to complain and the very same rude guy writes me back and carries the same "I don't care" attitude. I made a reservation and needed to cancel. I called for four days and e-mailed twice with no response from the company. I called the parent company, Expedia and they refused to cancel but gave me the phone number for Travelscape (702) 938-2100 which has limited business hours. After another several phone calls I got through and was able to cancel but got ripped off for part of the refund. ILX Los Abrigados Resort
ILX, Los Abrigados in Sedona, Arizona offered a Voucher(good for one year) for a train ride on the Verde Canyon Train for 3 Adults for a 90 minute tour of their resort. My wife and I completed the tour in Sept 2008 and recieved the voucher. We followed all the instructions on the voucher, made the reservations, turned in the voucher for travel on the train and 45 days after the travel, recieved a charge of 164.85 on our charge card for the tickets from the railroad due to the ILX Resort not honoring the Voucher. HP Plasma 42"
Bought a 42" HP Plasma TV and had it worked on a couple of times. This was by far the worst TV I have ever owned. The weight and heat it generated was over the top. Once it started having problems the picture quility went down and the HP was burned into the screen. The unit finally went out again and we had enough and bought a new TV. The HP was a big investment that went south. I will never ever buy any TV remotly attached to and HP systems if possible. read full review »

I am a club member since year 2002. Since then, the service has been getting poorer and poorer, the available hotels and affiliated hotels have been getting less by each year, and the surcharge has been getting higher each year. It is almost impossible to book a hotel especially during school holidays, public holidays, weekends and holiday eves. They did not deliver the product and then would not refund the difference after i complained to them they were very rude and unprofessional. Our daughter and her family paid for a suite at Super 8 Motel in Florence, Ky. on 6/11/11. Upon arriving it appeared not to be quite as portrayed on the internet. The management offered my son-in-law a walk through. After seeing it, he wanted his wife to see it. Not great, but doable. They said they'd stay. I moved into the Inn Town Suites on March 21, 2010. Since that time I have been actively looking for an apartment. About 3 weeks ago I noticed that room #248 was not a room by an apartment. I have traveled with my three other family members for London on 19th may through air emirates flight, I suppose to land in London @ 8;15 p.m but as there was an emergency landing in Vienna, Austria so we reached london 4 hours late. Numerous customers purchased bus tickets online from NYC to Dc. The tickets were for select dates and times which were confirmed by the company. When we arrived they advised they cancelled all the early bus schedules and we would all have to wait 2.5 hrs. No emails, notice on their website or phone calls were made to advise of the cancellation and refunding of tickets were refused. Another bus company was offering earlier bus times but this company refused to reimburse our money. Best Western Huntington Beach Inn
Our experience during our recent 1-week stay (5/24 - 5/31/2011) was simply not acceptable. We reserved a king-bed room months in advance, only to be placed when we arrived in possibly the worst hotel room we have ever occupied. The view from the first floor unit #105 was of an operating oil well visible above a block wall. However, one month later they called & informed that we are not able to climb on the chosen date because it is fully booked. When asked for refund, no respond from them since May 9th.
Now it is already June 11th. Our trip is suppose to be in Mid July. So what are we going to do now?

Doubletree hotel
Always thought Doubletree was suppose to be an upscale hotel...this one on located on Yale last time I witnessed had roaches crawling on their famous cookies that they hand out. The roaches were crawling all over the cookies in the kitchen. It was nasty!! My views of that hotel has totally changed. Complaint: Several guests and I were miss informed by hotel staff reception that Hilton Dockland's Ferry would come for us on other side of river. We waited for over an hour in the cold and the ferry never came for us in-spite being told several times via telephone by staff at the hotel to wait and that it would be on its way over to pick us up shortly.

I did do it. The cruise is not free and if you want to upgrade. There is no such thing. They quote you a higher price for the cruise than what was is posted on the internet. I lost my money. Qantas airfare
I have just found out that I was billed three times for a single booking for a Qantas flight. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with a Qantas representative in Australia who was unable to sort out my problem as all the credit card information for US booked flights is taken care of in New Zealand. Of course the New Zealand office was closed forcing me to wait. Meanwhile, my account is overdrawn incurring fees, my rent has bounced incurring a late fee. Palace Premier Resort
This is actually true. The Palace Premier Resort in Punta Cana and Mexico is complete scam. We was taken right at the airport where they impersonated an Experian representative. We filed credit card fraud and Identity theft with federal agencies and filed a dispute with the bank. Up to this point we have not heard any results. I booked a room in Econolodge (Niagra falls-US) for the memorial day weekend. Just one night before our scheduled departure, my 2 yr old son fell sick (high temperature and coughing). Flying J Travel Stop
I used my Debit Visa card at Flying J Travel Stop, Exit 277, I-20, Tye, Texas for fuel. I purchased $20.04 in fuel and ran my card as a credit as I did not want to put my pin # in at the pump.
This was on 4-28-11 at approx. 8:15 am. Approx. l hr. later I was at work and decided to look at my bank account. Flying J had not only withheld the $20.04 from my acccount...they withheld $151.00 as well !!! I tried to book a ticket in Red Bus portal from Bangalore to Chennai on 7 th May.
But the booking system throwed an error and displayed that ticket could not be issued and refund will be done.
